iPad Description: The best way to experience the web, email, photos, and video. Hands down. All of the built-in apps on iPad were designed from the ground up to take advantage of the large Multi-Touch screen and advanced capabilities of iPad. And they work in any orientation. So you can do things with these apps that you can’t do on any other device. It’s hard to believe we could fit so many great ideas into something so thin. iPad has a 9.7-inch, LED-backlit IPS display with a remarkably precise Multi-Touch screen. And yet, at just 1.5 pounds and 0.5 inch thin, it’s easy to carry and use anywhere. Thousands of apps made just for iPad. With more coming every day. Right now you’ll find thousands of apps on the App Store specifically designed for iPad. And iPad can run almost all the 150,000 apps for iPhone and iPod touch — even the apps you already have.
The Nokla N71 cellphone is a dual SIM cellphone which features two cameras as well as a slide out QWERTY keyboard for quick and easy messaging. It comes with a microSD memory card slot and supports just two languages – simplified Chinese and English. Guess that is a China-only handset that might see action in other Third World countries for folks who can’t afford a Nokia and want to idiot others into thinking that it is one.

Google Maps for mobile 4.1 is finally available, where its improvements include sorting through search results in an easier manner, while seeing Maps info in a more simplified way. Tabs have been removed, letting you see all the info you require on a individual page, while tapping new buttons enables you to view the place on the map, get directions, signal it, or see it with Street View. Latitude appears as a widget now, while you get Maps live wallpaper to further enhance your mobile traveling experience. You can look for “Google Maps” in Android Market from Android 1.6+ phones, and that update is available in all countries and languages where Maps is currently available. For those who have given it a go, how do you find it?

Looks like the Jolicloud operating system will be made available internationally to folks running netbooks, where it will come in both English and French flavors with plans for other languages in the pipeline. It would be interesting to see just how many society will take up the Jolicloud offer even though it is free, since Windows XP still rules supreme with the soon-to-come Google Chrome OS more than capable of making a big splash on its debut as well. Perhaps Jolicloud has already talked to other netbook manufacturers to include it in their machines – who knows?

It seems like there is more than one surprise in the latest Zune software update. Apparently the latest version is additionally language localized. Thus far, Microsoft hasn’t mentioned any plans to sell its Zune hardware outside the US, and the Zune player software isn’t available on the German Zune.net website either, but it seems that once you install the latest Zune player on a non-English PC, all the dialogs automatically change to a different language (German in that case). While it isn’t entirely clear why Microsoft did that just yet, a smart bet would be that it’s intending to expand the Zune HD hardware to other countries, or perhaps that it might be rolling out a Zune service launch in various universal markets. The rumors have often indicated that Windows Mobile 7 would have Zune features built-in, so that would certainly justify the need for the Zune player to be available in various languages. Hopefully Microsoft will shed more light on that at next month’s Mobile World Congress, and whether they do, it’s certainly going to be an event that we’re all looking forward to.
