LG Lotus now comes with DTV capability

What do you do with a year plus handset? Why, introduce a rehash that comes with better features - in that case, the LG Lotus has been upgraded with a digital TV (DTV) chip and will be re-announced in the US. Relying on the LG2160A ATSC-M/H chip that plus sees action in Dell, Kenwood and Hyundai Kia Motors offerings, the new LG Lotus will additionally come with a rather unsightly external mobile TV antenna. Other than that, virtually everything else remains the same including the QVGA internal display, QWERTY keypad, 2-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot.

JVC and Kenwood unveil MDV-313

JVC and Kenwood have teamed up to release their maiden car navigation system known as the MDV-313, where that device is touted to bring the best of both worlds in a solitary device. You get a built-in DVD player (no Blu-ray yet), an integrated 1Seg TV tuner, a USB port and virtual 3D maps among others, where the highlight of the MDV-313 would be its high speed response day that is touted to improve the user experience by leaps and bounds. No view on pricing or availability elsewhere, but that is set to hit Japan first.

Kenwood MG-F500 Announced

Kenwood has announced the MG-F500 MP3 player by in Japan. You won’t catch that media player playing anything else other than music, so that means no YouTube, no Video playback, and plus no World Wide Web browsing. Of course, the audio quality will probably be of the quality sought by audiophiles, so you can’t blame it for focusing solely on music only. Features of the Kenwood MG-F500 include:
