Harman Kardon and JBL refreshes spring lineup
March 18, 2010

Harman Kardon and JBL will be introducing fresh meat for that spring, with the MS-8 being the first car audio tuner that was specially designed for owners themselves, since it brings together a digital audio processor with adjustment controls and headphone monitors which will help tune a car's existing speaker system. Included is a step-by-step process that theoretically improves bass, dynamics, frequency response and other factors in a mere 10 minutes - now how about that! Expect the MS-8 to ship that April for $799. Apart from that, there will plus be a range of iPod and iPhone speaker docks, 5.1-channel surround sound kits and home theater systems. whether you're a huge fan of either label, next you might just want to wait until April before making that upgrade jump.

Textile Synthesizer
March 18, 2010
The Textile Synthesizer by Jeannine Han and Dan Riley who hail from the Swedish School of Textiles is pretty interesting since that concept will be able to turn any clothing into a MIDI interface. Touch sensors just like the ones found in the iPod as well as other touchscreen displays have been woven into the textile, while an AVR micro-controller with special touch-sensing cipher will convert the hand gestures into musical commands for the music generator which will rock out with sound. The entire textile sensory area starts from the neck area to the waist, capable of producing smooth values smooth by the entire range.

iLuv ISP150 Bar Speaker
March 17, 2010

iLuv is ready to rock and roll with the ISP150 Bar Speaker, where it will turn the rather ordinary iPod into a portable disco - assuming you aren't rocking out in some huge hall, of course. Meant to work in tandem with the iPad, notebook and iPod, its integrated speakers can be powered via USB or a quartet of AAA batteries. Features include a 3.5mm audio jack, USB connectivity as well as a capability switch and volume control. At $34.99 a pop, we wonder who would want to lug it around on their travels since it doesn't seem all that convenient.

Quiver shoulder strap holds gizmos
March 15, 2010

The $85 Quiver shoulder strap does not hold any arrows unlike the days of Robin Hood, but that comes with a wallet pocket as well as an enclave for your digital device of choice, ranging from an iPhone to an iPod among others. Interestingly adequate, it featuers inSound controls that is actually a soft control keypad based on Fibretronic’s CONNECTEDwear. You will be able to switch songs, adjust the volume or reply a signal using nothing but the Quiver’s inSound exterior keypad. Pretty nifty, eh?

Considering the trend of cramming diamonds into Apple products, nobody should be surprised to see a Diamond iPad show up on the World Wide Web, much less from Goldstriker, the company which came up with the gold-plated iPod nano and Diamond iPhone 3G. that $19,999 iPad sports a diamond studded frame featuring 11.43 carats of diamonds, hand-set in a micro-pave styling. You’re currently able to place your order online to reserve one, so there’s nothing but your wallet and common sense to stop you from placing an order now.

Hardware Jailbreak Your iPhone Easily With The iDongle
March 12, 2010

Ever wanted to jailbreak your iPhone, but thought that fiddling with all that software felt like Voodoo magic? Well, with the iDongle, you won’t have to go through the tedious process of jailbreaking your iPhone. The device can jailbreak an iPhone, and more importantly, reboot a jailbroken iPhone on the go. The only downside of that device is that it currently only works on the iPhone 3GS running firmware 3.1.2, and iPod touch 2G/3G. There are only about a dozen or so of these devices available at the moment, but the developer is busy in the process of raising money to ramp up production. whether you’re drooling by that at the moment, check out the video on it after the jump.
