Folks looking out for an ultra portable notebook will want to take note that Acer has launched its Acer Aspire One 752 notebook. Aside from its 1.3GHz Intel Celeron ULV743 processor, the rest of the specifications of the laptop seem fairly interesting. Hanvon decided to construct their presence felt at CeBIT that year with their BC10C and BA10E tablets. While both models run on the Windows operating system, their innards are slightly different with the former sporting a 10.1? capacitive display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Celeron ULV743 1.3GHz processor, 2GB RAM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, HDMI and a 250GB hard drive. It is powered by Windows 7 Home Premium and sports a chassis constructed from aluminum, plastic and carbon fiber. Expect the BC10C to retail anywhere from $600 to $700. As for the Hanvon BA10E, that model sports an active digitizer and electromagnetic stylus, with a speedier Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz processor running within alongside 1GB RAM, a 120GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, HDMI support and a 10.1″ display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, all running on Windows XP Home with a price point that resides comfortably among $500 and $600.

The French will be getting a new tablet-style notebook from Acer – the Acer Aspire 1420P. that 11.6″ model comes with a 1,366 x 768 resolution touchscreen display which can be turned around and folded down to resemble a slate computer. Nothing new about that design factor, but that is one of the initial few budget-friendly models to have popped up. It is slightly larger than your average netbook, but packs in a whole lot more punch in terms of processing capability thanks to the dual core Intel Celeron SU2300 CULV processor and integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics. that isn’t going to hit the US just yet, but it sells for 499 Euros in that part of the world. Other specifications include a 250GB hard drive, 3GB RAM, HDMI and VGA outputs, Bluetooth and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, and an SD memory card slot, all running on Windows 7 Home Premium.

Folks who attended Microsoft’s PDC09 (Professional Developers Conference) should be rather happy, as Steven Sinofsky, Windows and Windows Live Division President, announced that all of the PDC09 attendees will be receiving a free Acer Aspire 1420P Convertible Tablet PC. The free tablet was supposedly to show Microsoft’s gratitude towards all of the PDC attendees and the support that the developers gave Microsoft during the Windows 7 release. In case you were wondering, the features of said laptop include:

Asus’ latest UL30Vt notebook will run on the recently unveiled Windows 7 operating system, where it comes with 4GB RAM alongside a 500GB hard drive for all your storage needs. Of course, that doesn’t mean you just dump everything there without making a back up. Underneath the chassis, you have a choice within an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.4GHz processor or an Intel Celeron SU2300/743 1.2GHz processor, accompanied by WI-Fi N connectivity, a 13.3″ display at 1,366 x 768 resolution, Intel’s GMA X4500MHD chipset and an NVIDIA GeForce G 210M 512MB video card. Apparently, the UL30Vt is quite the marathon runner, lasting up to 12 hours without lost a beat. Would you fork out $750 for that puppy?
