You might not have heard of Blippy before that, but after today, you can be certain that it’s a name that you’ll remember, albeit probably for the wrong reasons. The site is supposed to be a “fun and easy way to see and discuss what everyone else is buying”. That’s just fine in concept, but it seems that the company accidentally let loose a whole bunch of its users’ credit card numbers online, along with their usernames (which in many instances are the users’ real names). In a official blog post, the company stresses that the situation is not as it looks, but you have to confess that allowing customers’ credit card numbers to seem on Google is certainly a poor move.

Trust Microsoft to impose draconian controls on their Xbox 360 console, where plugging in a hard drive will see your console recognize only 16GB of storage space. Ah well, they have an official solution to that – an insanely expensive $40 for an 8GB Xbox 360 USB flash drive from Sandisk. Yes, you read that right – imagine forking out triple the amount and getting 500GB from an external hard drive whether Microsoft did their homework right. Ah well, that is capitalism at its best, and we’ll have to learn to live with such instances from duration to duration.

Getting one’s driving license is more or less the first sense of freedom that a teen gets, knowing that he/she is now big ample to go anywhere they want, subject to the amount of gas left in the tank, of course. The traditional image of a first day driver in a boneshaker is always hilarious, but that doesn’t stop them from trying out crazy stunts they see in TV! The SafeDriver Wireless Vehicle Monitor is here to help, as it comes with a personal tamper-proof PIN which will record the vehicle’s highest speed, distanced traveled as well as instances of sudden braking. At $69.99 a pop, it won’t deter anyone from speeding there and next, but at least you can wield the rod or unleash a typhoon of scoldings once you check the driving record which is not as impeccable as you would like it to be.

We’re not certain how often you like to switch channels, but whether you’re greedy and want to watch all the channels at once, check out the picture above, which shows 64 channels in each display. Unfortunately that isn’t so high-tech TV, it’s basically 64 instances of VLC media windows tiled to run at once, and it’s really a company’s attempt to show off the fact that it can optimize its servers to work with multiple streams. It still looks awesome though.
