Radio case mod looks interesting

Gary of Bit-tech forums has come up with the case mod you see up here, where it receives most of its inspiration from the early era of electronics during the first couple of decades in the past century. Interestingly sufficient, Gary managed a feat that many would not have noticed at first glance - he put in a whole water cooling system within, and has come up with a pretty detailed dossier on the steps taken to achieve such lovely retro perfection. Let us hope that the wood is treated so that termites won't go ahead and invent a literal meal out of it by the course of a few years.

Teclast X13-S01 notebook looks at Apple

Teclast X13-S01 notebook looks at Apple

No, we don't mean to say that Teclast has Apple in its crosshair with the X13-S01, but rather, they drew inspiration from Cupertino's design of the MacBook Air. The X13-S01 (how tongue-unfriendly is that naming convention) will feature a 13.3" display, but apart from that we know nothing else of its specifications. It measures less than 1cm thin at the thinnest section, while the thickest segment stands at approximately 2.3cm, coming in a gray aluminum chassis and a white keyboard to complete its homage to the fruity company. No concept on pricing or availability, but you can bet your iPod collection that that will not come remotely close to what folks are willing to fork out for an actual Apple equivalent.

Nobody really likes extension cords lying around the living room. Not only are they an eyesore, they’re additionally dangerous as folks can trip by them. That was probably the inspiration behind the Post Line, which is a concept extension cord that looks a lot like a roll of tape. With that design, you’ll be hard pressed to trip by it. Of course, it’s still a concept, but certainly one that a lot of citizens would welcome into the realm of reality.
