Haroon Baig’s Twitwee Clock has been updated to keep up with the times, where it will deploy the cuckoo and show the tweet on a tiny LCD display whenever there is an incoming tweet – we assume that is made possible thanks to a combination of an Arduino and Chumby innards to get its game going.

The Twitwee Clock is a modified Cuckoo Clock that wirelessly connects to the Web and constantly checks for new status updates or search results from the Twitter API. New Tweets are displayed on the built-in display in near-realtime accompanied by the charming yet obtrusive shout of a mechanical cuckoo poping out of the clock. The clock could monitor any twitter stream or search, so it could for example inform the user about new tweets in his personal timeline. In exhibition context however it is configured to react on self-referenced tweets. whether “TwitweeClock” is mentioned in any tweet, the tweet is displayed on the built in screen and the cuckoo mechanism is triggered.

Want to get the cuckoo out of its nest? Just send any tweet with TwitweeClock in the report and you’re good to go.

Sprint knows just how eco-conscious many of us are these days, and hence has decided to introduce the spanking new green Samsung Restore messaging phone, which is an offshoot of the Samsung Reclaim. Using recyclable materials to manufacture up its body and some innards, the Samsung Restore won’t turn any heads for its technological capability, as that is pretty much an entry-level handset with a full QWERTY keyboard to underline its messaging intent, Bluetooth connectivity, a 2-megapixel camera for candid shots, a microSD memory card slot and one-click access to various social networking sites while you’re on the go. Out that summer, it will retail for $49.99 a pop in Midnight and Limeade.colors with a 2-year contract after a $50 rebate.

Instead of juicing up your brain by working it, the Cube Magic you see here will work differently by charging up your gizmos, since that is a battery charger that functions on electromagnetic induction principles – all you need to do is play with the cube whenever you feel like exercising your brain, harness the energy generated and let its innards do the hard work of converting it into usable capability to juice up the rest of your hooked up gadgets! Too poor that concept doesn’t sound too practical, as we wonder just how many times you must solve it before there is suitable ability stored within to keep an iPod going for a few minutes’ worth of video playback.

While there is a 3G SIM slot, looking for the 3G antenna was pretty rugged. Are you one of the few out there who picked up the JooJoo tablet? whether so, are you happy or disappointed with it?

Check out that steampunk rendition of an Apple iMac, which is a mod from Old moment Computer. It was built following the footsteps of a Victorian era, being made out of oak. that wood cover costs $265 and can slip directly by your iMac, so there is no need to take out its innards and do a whole lot of DIY modifications to it. We do wonder whether the oak is treated against termintes or not.
