Thanks to the newly released iPhone OS 4.0 beta 3, folks are beginning to find some additional features of the iPhone OS 4.0. Of course, since it’s still a beta, there’s no promise that the feature will be there in the final release, but there is a high chance of it making it to the final build. We’re talking about useful features such as easy file transfer, where you’ll be able to send files to your iPhone from your computer via iTunes. The inclusion of media player widgets is another gem, giving you more control by your music. Finally, for those of you who are constantly using your iPhone while on the bed, the orientation lock should be warmly welcomed, allowing you to keep the phone in portrait mode, regardless of whichever way you twist the phone.

Nokia’s freshly-announced Car Kit CK-200 offers some rather useful functions, the most obvious which is its ability to connect to two devices at once and switch seamlessly among them whilst you’re busy driving. To further stand out, it can automatically download the phonebooks from both devices, as well as display new text messages that you receive. It additionally comes with a wireless remote which can be attached to the steering wheel for easy access, so you don’t have to fumble around your pockets just to reply a shout. There is additionally the inclusion of the My Own Key, allowing you to listen to a new SMS by your car’s speakers or send a pre-defined text info explaining why you can’t reply the signal. The CK-200 will be available that summer and should be retailing for about €140 ($182). Check out a video ad promoting the Nokia Car Kit CK-200 after the jump.

Transcend has rolled out its latest StoreJet 25D2 portable hard drive that comes in a 2.5″ design factor, where it hooks up to your computing machine of your choice via USB 2.0. We would very much have preferred to see it come with USB 3.0 connectivity, but we guess until that platform becomes mainstream, USB 2.0 will still be here at least for a while. Its exterior comes with a mirror-like high gloss finish, but despite the fragile appearance, it is firm and rugged with an advanced internal hard drive suspension system that prevents damage caused by accidental slips or falls when traveling. The inclusion of anti-slip rubber feet plus ensures a stable base for the StoreJet 25D2 to rest on a flat surface. To further strengthen its case, it comes with an motorized power-saving sleep mode after ten minutes of inactivity, letting you save up to 30% of juice. Each purchase comes with Transcend`s own StoreJet Elite software and 256-bit AES encryption, where you can choose from 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacities.

While the exterior of the iPad 3G looks more or less the same with the Wi-Fi iPad, the inclusion of the black RF window, for better antenna reception, makes the opening procedure slightly different, as you wouldn’t want to crack it. Thanks to the inclusion of GPS and 3G, the iPad 3G actually sports five antennas: two for the cell reception, one for the GPS signal and two more to handle Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity. Have you received your iPad 3G yet, or are you still deciding whether to get one? In the meantime, our iPad review should give you a pretty good notion of what to expect.

Toshiba’s NB305 netbook will be getting a minor upgrade not on the outside, but rather, on the inside with the inclusion of a new DDR3-enabled N455 Atom processor coupled with 1GB of 1066MHz DDR3 RAM to speed things up a wee bit. Said model, additionally known as the Toshiba NB305-10F, has been seen on the official Toshiba France website recently alongside a list of specifications such as a 10.1″ display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, a 250GB hard drive and Windows 7 Basic as the operating system of choice. No view on availability, but it ought to retail for somewhere in the €350 region.

We previously managed to snag you some screenshots of the upcoming Office 2011 for Mac, and now the folks by at Boy Genius have managed to use the upcoming Office suite, and the feedback is rather encouraging. The most notable thing about Office 2011 for Mac is the inclusion of the Ribbon, which is great news for folks who like it, as well as macros for Excel, toolbox integration with iPhoto, iTunes, Photo Booth and carport Band. The only poor thing about it is apparently Outlook, which is forceful but apparently requires quite a lot of work to get things done. Of course, some things can be subjective, so it’s best that you give Office 2011 for Mac a try before you produce a decision to buy it. Sounds fair, no?

The Cowon D3 has yet to be announced and released to the masses, but that has not stopped it from being the subject of rumors that it is powered by the Android operating system. Whatever the case is, we do hope that the use of an Android OS on that upcoming portable media player (if proven true) would not detract from the overall user experience, as it needs to be well executed in order to prove worthy of inclusion, and not just implemented haphazardly simply considering there are no license fees to fork out.

BlackBerry for Twitter 1.0.0.37 has just leaked out, and whoever is curious to find out how it works can easily invent a go at the download link. You will get native messages folder integration and push-grade direct messages alongside a Lists tab that will let you view and edit your lists of followers. The Lists tab can be considered to be a major inclusion particularly when you are working from a mobile platform, since it can be a real hassle to go through your whole feed of incoming tweets for something specific. The ability to view individual users within the app plus enables you to view their lists with the option to subscribe to or recommend them to others.
