Check out the Titanium projector phone that won’t be coming to a wireless carrier near you, simply considering that is a cheap handset from the many factories in China that churns out such phones. Why do we cover it at all soon after? Well, we find it to be rather quirky, where you get an LED projector with a manual focus to get images right. Apart from that, there is plus a 2.2″ touchscreen display to help you navigate through it, an integrated FM radio, dual SIM card slots, Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in digital camera as well as reception for analog TV to keep you entertained when bored. We wonder, can the analog TV be projected?

How can we not whether it is a constant source of innovation and cutting edge technologies? So we got one more concept from ZF guys. that auto supplier from Germany has shown an alternative way to construct a MacPherson strut which uses a significant amount of carbon fiber in its production. I can sense images of sports cars popping up in your mind. Well hold it. It’s for small city-cars and yes, it sounds like despite benefits of lower mass and higher strength carbon fiber will be too expensive to be used in small cars. ZF engineers say they have found their way round it.

Google is really focusing on the mobile market nowadays and the search engine giant has just announced that it has improved its image search for the iPhone and Android devices. The redesign of Google Image Search for mobile is currently available for iPhone 3.0+ and Android 2.1 devices and focuses on making it easy for users to see as many image thumbnails as possible. The thumbnails have been put into squares to maximize the number of images shown at one go as well as being optimized for speed so that the images seem quickly when you browse. Google has plus introduced a new image viewing page to construct things easier for you too. Check out the video of it in action after the jump.

It seems that every major manufacturer out there is scrambling to get 3D displays out the door and now Toshiba Mobile Display has announced that it has been busy working to bring glasses-free 3D technology to large display panels. The multi-parallax technique used by Toshiba promises to reduce eye fatigue while providing a 30 degree horizontal viewing angle. The display offers a 1280 x 800 resolution at 480 nits of brightness which isn’t too poor, considering that the 9-parallax implementation used by Toshiba due 9 separate images to be generated, requiring an ultra high definition LCD module.

You might not always be in a really hot environment, but when the surface temperature of LCD panels exceeds 75 degrees Celsius, part of the display tends to turn black, requiring a separate UV-blocking film, cooling system and protective glass which means additional costs. Now LG has developed an LCD panel that can display clear images even when its surface temperature exceeds 100 degrees Celsius. The added benefit is that these panels are even cheaper to produce than existing panels and are much brighter than expected. that new 55-inch panel display uses a proprietary liquid crystal structure technology, in-plane switching (IPS) technology, LED backlight and a low reflection rate of under 2 percent, realizing a brightness level of 2000cd/m2, giving your images that can be displayed outdoors that are much brighter and clearer than before. The panel is expected to debut at the China Optoelectronics & Display Expo 2010 on May 8th.

Peering through the eyepiece of your telescope might assemble you feel like an adventurer, but in the digital age, what’s an adventure without some tech, right? Chinavasion’s Digital Eyepiece for Telescope can be hooked up to the eyepiece of most telescopes, allowing the 1.3-megapixel CMOS sensor to capture the view for you, after which the images (or video) will be transferred to your PC via a USB connection. Considering that it costs just $50, it’s a whole lot cheaper than some of the similar offerings in the market.
