Now you can have the choice of latest Intel Core processors in either standard voltage for better performances , or stick with the low voltage, a standard for the HP ultra portable notebooks. The HP Elite 2540p features a 12.1-inch LED display , optional 2-megapixel webcam with business card reader software and HP Fingerprint Sensor, a spill-resistant keyboard, and multiple li-ion battery options 3-cell (4hours), 6-cell (8hours), 9-cell (10.5 hours). Additionally, the device is designed to meet solid military standards (MIL-STD 810G) for vibration, dust, humidity, altitude and high temperature. The HP EliteBook 2540p will be available in April, pricing starts at $1,099.&nbsp; </p>

<p>A group at MIT led by Professor Donald Sadoway is busy developing grid-scale storage solutions for times when electricity is scarce. They&rsquo;ve come up with a rather novel way to keep things running, which is by using high temperature liquid medals. The team has even had date to award a grant from ARPA-E (Advanced Research Projects Agency and Energy. We&rsquo;re not too certain how getting high temperature liquid metals will be feasibly, but we&rsquo;ll leave that to the experts for the moment.</p>
