Nokia N900 micro USB connector has problems

Nokia's N900 might be on top of the list for many a hacker, but regardless of how well you can mod it physically or write cipher for it, you will still need to juice up the device from instance to duration. Unfortunately, there seems to be a common problem with the N900 which sees the micro USB connector's surface mount design getting misaligned or disconnected completely. With regards to warranty, that is really a touch-and-go issue - as some users don't have problems getting a replacement, while others are having a hard day with the Nokia support folks. whether you happen to own a Nokia N900, is your device running just fine?

Malicious iPhone Virus In Netherlands

We’ve seen Jailbroken iPhones that left SSH on with the default passwords get Rickrolled, and additionally “blackmailed”, though we’re fairly certain nobody really paid any money. Now it seems that a new virus, exploiting the same vulnerability, has surfaced in the Netherlands. It allows the hacker to remotely control and access the phone, making it a serious privacy concern, particularly whether you fiddle with online banking on your iPhone. You’d hate to wake up and see your bank detail cleared out, wouldn’t you? At the instance of writing, that variant of the virus is isolated in the Netherlands, but who knows where it will spread it. So whether you’ve Jailbroken your iPhone, do remember to change the default password.
