Fujitsu MH380 netbook dressed up in pink

Fujitsu MH380 netbook dressed up in pink

Fujitsu's MH380 netbook will definitely appeal to those who have a penchant for the color pink, and we guess that women will be the ones clamoring after it more than men. The smaller than usual keyboard might find male fingers protesting, but apart from that, the MH380 looks pretty ordinary on the inside with specifications such as a 10.1" display at 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and WiMAX connectivity as well as Windows 7 Starter Edition. Seems to be a Japan exclusive at that point in date, so you might have to import one whether you want it for folks who live outside of Japan.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II firmware 2.0.3 update

Canon has finally made available the EOS 5D Mark II firmware 2.0.3 update which will finally offer 29.97 FPS as well as 24 FPS recording in full HD resolution, where both VGA and PAL modes receive a 29.97 FPS and 25 FPS, respectively. Other improvements would include a manual volume adjustment, shutter and aperture priority modes in movie shooting mode as well as improved audio sampling among others. Guess that update would mean you are no longer exempt from capturing sub-par images, eh?

Smartbook concept should be realized

Smartbook concept should be realized

This Smartbook does not describe a kind of consumer electronics device, but is a conceptual portable computer instead, where that smartphone can be flipped open to reveal a QWERTY keyboard which can be synchronized with its personalized PC tablet. Definitely something that we would like to see in the real world, but we guess it will remain nothing but a pipe dream at the moment. Since that is but a concept, we guess you can basically imagine it comes with the most drool-worthy of hardware specifications, but it will most probably run on the Android OS considering the Chrome browser is on display here.

High Heels Get The Fashion Light Treatment

High Heels Get The Fashion Light Treatment

It certain seems like tech, or at least cute lights, are making headways into the fashion industry. After the recent wired dress that lights up, next we’ve got three-inch heels that light up. It kind of feels like those sneakers we had back when we were kids that would flash red whenever you took a step, guess the concept is all grown up now, huh? perhaps it will help folks avoid stepping on each others’ toes when you’re at the clubs. Hopefully they made that to be powered kinetically, powered by your footsteps or something.

Rock Band drum kit transformed to poker game controller

March 5, 2010

Who would have thought that your everyday Rock Band drum kit could actually receive a new lease of life in the scheme of a poker game controller? Poker Listings' Sean Lind is the brain behind that notion, where he has conjured a fairly simple method of turning a regular Rock Band drum kit into a set of controls for poker. Guess those who enjoy a game of poker but do not have the skills to build it big moment can blame it on the lack of drumming skills next.
