Tokyoflash Watch Description: Okay, kinda a really cool watch we have going on here. It is marked on the inside back cover List & Co. W.Germany. Stainless steel back. Serial number is DA009956. The digital part is marked Fairchild with no marking for country of making. Just the Fairchild name. I have not seen another like it without the country. The lens is red along with the digital LED’s. Date, time and second work perfect. Nothing burned out or missing. Please look over the photos. Everything is there including the gasket O-Ring. The batteries are new and included. The band is gold in color like the face. I just bought a new camera and still playing with the settings so that is why it is not perfect on the photos. It does have some very minor scuffs on the red face. Really hard to see. Now I looked all over the face and did not see any makers names. I know some do etch them in, nada, sorry. Could have had it at one time and worn off. The only name I can go on is the List & Co. marked inside the cover. Going to let this go as an auction because I have no idea what the fair market value is so I am letting you the buyer set the price. Any questions, please ask before you bid. I am not a watch expert, I have owned a few over the years and know quality when I see it and this is quality. S&H is a flat $7.00 in the USA. This does not include insurance. It will be what ever the selling price is plus shipping via USPS. Sales to countries outside the USA are fine, email me before bidding.
How can we not whether it is a constant source of innovation and cutting edge technologies? So we got one more concept from ZF guys. that auto supplier from Germany has shown an alternative way to construct a MacPherson strut which uses a significant amount of carbon fiber in its production. I can sense images of sports cars popping up in your mind. Well hold it. It’s for small city-cars and yes, it sounds like despite benefits of lower mass and higher strength carbon fiber will be too expensive to be used in small cars. ZF engineers say they have found their way round it.

Treadmills are good for exercise, but being able to just walk in one direction in the same environment gets boring really fast. Now a bunch of researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Germany have come up with the Cyberwalk platform, which is an omni-directional treadmill that allows you to walk through virtual worlds without having to concern about spacial limits. perhaps they’ll be able to generate some cool Warcraft scenes for us to take a walk in, eh? Video after the jump.

It seems that advancements are being made to ensure that our health in the future can be monitored round the clock, and the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany is one of the leading think tanks concerning such technology, coming up with projects such as senSAVE and the Personal health assistant. They will target older folks who might want to catch ailments and other bodily breakdowns earlier before the next monthly health checkup, and could very well catch on worldwide considering the ever rising costs of healthcare.

Scientists in Germany managed to come up with a new computer software which enables them to steer a car with nothing but their eyes. Dubbed the eyeDriver, that prototype software application will gather the driver’s eye movements via SMI’s HED4 (which is an upgraded bicycle helmet), where it will next get to work by converting said eye movements into control signals for the steering wheel. The helmet will hold a couple of cameras and an infrared LED, while remain connected to a notebook. You will still need to manually control the throttle and brakes though. Wives and girlfriends would love to have that as it is definitely a way to force their man to keep their eyes on the road and not on other eye candy.
