Messenger dogs have always been a boon on the battlefield in the past, where these faithful four legged animals will be able to ferry urgent messages across bloody battle fields which could mean having one’s ally send reinforcements in the nick of duration. Laura Boffi has come up with the interactive messenger uniform for dogs. that is currently in the conceptual stage, and will operate on the premise where messenger dogs who wear an easy-to-identify uniform will carry a device that records audio messages and conversations, archive the geolocation of where each notice was taken and the instance as well. These dogs have been specially trained to sit in front of humans, while an accelerometer within the dogs will trigger a recording device when the right movement is detected.

Google has just killed off its Gears by supporting HTML 5 instead. that news comes about as Google is about to release its initial beta version of Chrome for the Mac. According to a Google spokesman, “We are excited that much of the technology in Gears, including offline support and geolocation APIs, are being incorporated into the HTML5 spec as an open standard supported across browsers, and see that as the logical next step for developers looking to include these features in their websites.”
