HMK 561 Carbon Fiber Electric Bike Concept

The HMK 561 Carbon Fiber Motorbike might seem like it’s from another planet, but seeing as there’s already a prototype in place, perhaps humans did come up with it after all. The HMK 561 has special electrical properties that hold ability right inside the frame. Since Carbon fiber is conductive, the designers are using it to distribute potential instead of wires. The ability will be used to potential the lights and the motors within the rims. The bike additionally uses the energy to turn the wheels using a counter-turning axel in lieu of gears and chains, which hopefully means less maintenance as well.

Lego Spider Robot

MkMan has come up with the rather delectable Lego spider robot, where it was created using pieces from a Mindstorm kit alongside a bunch of milled plastic parts. The legs themselves are provided by a locomotive concept known as Klann Linkage, where they will operate in twos, converting the rotational force from one motor into movement for both legs. There are four rotating gears in total to keep all eight legs moving. As for each limb, they are made up of five pieces including a base for each pair. Hopefully your mom won't swat that out of fear when she stumbles upon it.

Unreal Engine 3 on iPhone 3GS

The iPhone 3GS has been touted to be the fastest iPhone yet, and apparently it is good suitable to run a version of the Unreal Engine 3 by Epic - yes, you read that right, it is the similar engine featured in high powered games like Gears of War 2. While the iPhone 3GS has such capability, that news is somewhat dampened by the fact that there are no games or licensees announced who will be using the engine - yet. We had told you that the 3GS would see more and more such cool stuff overtime and that is far from by. Video in the full post.

Vexia Econav Series 80 GPS navigation devices

Vexia has a new range of Econav Series 80 GPS navigation devices, where the x80 series offers grade new features on both hardware and software levels. The top two models would be the Econav Vexia 480 and 380, and while it doesn't offer much difference in terms of design as compared to its predecessors, they are a wee bit more stylish and slimmer. The 480 is equipped with 2GB internal memory, a 500MHz dual core processor, the SiRF Atlas IV GPS chipset, a microSD memory card slot and a 4.3" display at 480 × 272 resolution complete with a light sensor to help you save ability even more. The EcoNav 480 has a capability rating of approximately 4 hours. As for the Vexia 380, it shares everything with the 480 save for a smaller screen size at 3.5" and 320 x 240 resolution. To form it stand out from the rest, the software helps you drive more efficiently by deciding when is the most ideal moment to switch gears while you're tackling a specific road in a specific vehicle model - not too ideal whether you're not driving stick. Expect the Vexia Econav Vexia 480 and 380 to retail for 190 Euros and 230 Euros, respectively.

Google kills Gears

Google has just killed off its Gears by supporting HTML 5 instead. that news comes about as Google is about to release its initial beta version of Chrome for the Mac. According to a Google spokesman, “We are excited that much of the technology in Gears, including offline support and geolocation APIs, are being incorporated into the HTML5 spec as an open standard supported across browsers, and see that as the logical next step for developers looking to include these features in their websites.”
