Adobe Photoshop.com Mobile Editor For Android Developers

Adobe Photoshop.com Mobile Editor For Android Developers

Adobe has released an updated version of its Photoshop.com Mobile application for Google’s Android platform, which is good news, and one of the more interesting features of that version is that it allows third-party applications to access the Photoshop.com Mobile for Android 1.1 editor, allowing them to use it in their applications. that is certainly good news for Android users, but you can’t help but notice that Adobe plus took the opportunity to take a dig at Apple’s iPhone platform. A statement from Doug Mack, general manager of Adobe’s Digital Imaging and Rich Media Solutions group stated:

"Unlike iPhone, the Android platform allows us to assemble the Photoshop.com editor broadly available to developers so they can supply it within any application they are working on. Photoshop functionality can soon after easily be accessed from an online auction, real estate, or social media application so users can quickly fix photos and construct them look their best, before being showcased."

Press release.

HTC Desire To Get DivX Playback Feature?

HTC Desire To Get DivX Playback Feature?

The HTC Desire hasn’t been released yet, but it looks like it’s already getting a new feature. that Android-powered device will apparently be getting DivX playback functionality, and possibly 720p encoding capabilities. The DivX playback capability should be added in a future update, apparently considering the feature couldn’t be finalized in instance for the handset’s launch. Would DivX playback be the feature that could tip that phone in your favor, or is it just another gimmick to you?

PlayStation Network service up and running

Sony's PSN network is now up and running after yesterday’s debacle, with the symptoms of older PS3 units having their internal clock go haywire fixed and restored. Here's what the official statement from the PlayStation Blog has to say.

We are aware that the internal clock functionality in the PS3 units other than the slim model, recognized the year 2010 as a leap year. Having the internal clock period change from February 29 to March 1 (both GMT), we have verified that the symptoms are now resolved and that users are able to use their PS3 normally. whether the instance displayed on the XMB is still incorrect, users are able to adjust date settings manually or via the Net. whether we have new data, we will update you through the PlayStation.Blog or PlayStation.com. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused.

Guess the world can move on now, and that goes to show that it pays to get the latest hardware always.

Mini jumps aboard connected bandwagon

Mini is all set to roll out a new system known as Mini Connected at the Geneva Motor Show, where it is touted to offer "a newly developed USB interface whose rare functionality allows maximum integration of the iPhone into the in-car audio and infotainment system." We can't wait but see such entertainment integration being made in other vehicles of the future, and will certainly look forward to that new innovation particularly with Mini: Mission Control in which "vehicle-related signals are used to generate constantly changing, situation-dependent messages." Apart from that, Mini Connected will be launched as an option on the Countryman. Saving up for a new car after reading that?
