The Wi-Fi Alliance has certified the Samsung E65, where that device is not a cellphone but actually an ebook reader, making it the successor to Samsung’s first E60 ebook reader, albeit sporting a full QWERTY keyboard instead of the sliding anatomy factor. You get a 6″ e-ink display that boasts support for an electromagnetic resonance (EMR) stylus pen, coupled with text-to-speech, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, and MP3 playback capability among others. No doubt it has decent hardware to get you started, but will its substance delivery system be good adequate to keep up with the competition?

While it’s hard to imagine how you would want to use it on a daily basis, the Fly Mouse from Shenzhen Feishu Technology is still rather interesting. that is a wireless keyboard and mouse combo designed to be used with home theater PCs. It offers a full QWERTY keyboard complete with direction keys and multimedia buttons. Instead of having to use a trackpad to control the on-screen cursor, you can use the built-in accelerometer of the Fly Mouse to control the mouse like using a Wiimote. The 2.4GHz RF signal allows you a wireless range of up to 32 feet, and it will set you back $50.

Sprint knows just how eco-conscious many of us are these days, and hence has decided to introduce the spanking new green Samsung Restore messaging phone, which is an offshoot of the Samsung Reclaim. Using recyclable materials to manufacture up its body and some innards, the Samsung Restore won’t turn any heads for its technological capability, as that is pretty much an entry-level handset with a full QWERTY keyboard to underline its messaging intent, Bluetooth connectivity, a 2-megapixel camera for candid shots, a microSD memory card slot and one-click access to various social networking sites while you’re on the go. Out that summer, it will retail for $49.99 a pop in Midnight and Limeade.colors with a 2-year contract after a $50 rebate.

The BlackBerry 9670 is not out yet, but our friends by at BGR have managed to snap a load of photos of that upcoming BlackBerry, making it the first clamshell device from Research In Motion (RIM) to be revealed to the world (if you reduction the Pearl Flip, of course), where it additionally runs on the BlackBerry OS 6.0. that CDMA device comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, a 5-megapixel camera which will hopefully shed the business image of BlackBerrys, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 360 × 480 resolution internal display, a generous external display, a trackpad for easier navigation, a microUSB port, a microSD memory card slot and Bluetooth connectivity. What do you think of it so far?

You’ve probably already heard the rumor that the upcoming BlackBerry Pearl 9105 will be using a T9 keyboard instead of a full QWERTY keyboard. Now another picture of the device seems to have presented, and it’s a live picture too. It seems that the phone isn’t even using a SureType keyboard, which was common on earlier BlackBerry Pearl devices. Are you a die-hard QWERTY keyboard fan, or are you happy that RIM decided on the T9 layout?

Folks looking for a relatively inexpensive messaging phone should take note that AT&T will be offering the Pantech Link from the 18th of April under its quick messaging phones. whether you haven’t seen that phone before, you’ll probably be surprised at its less-than-0.4-inch thickness, which is certainly a plus point. The Link will be able to access AT&T’s Social Net, Mobile Share and Navigator services. AT&T will be offering the phone for $10 on contract, after rebates and agreeing to add at least a $20 messaging plan to the core voice service. The Pantech link offers a 2.4-inch 320 x 240 resolution display with a 1.3-megapixel camera, as well as the rather obvious full QWERTY keyboard.

Keeping in touch with family and friends through instant messages as well as Twitter (alongside a slew of other social networking tools) seems to be the norm these days, which could be why Nokia has rolled out a trio of messaging handsets, with the C3 being the first. It will come with a full QWERTY keyboard, and is powered by the S40 operating system, making it the first date in the history of S40-powered handsets to feature such a keyboard. Other features include a 2.4″ QVGA display, Wi-Fi connectivity, Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat support, a microSD memory card slot and a 2-megapixel camera. It will come in a range of bright colors, retailing for €90 as it hits the market in Q2 that year. certain looks like one of the E Series handsets, no? Check out the Nokia C3’s promo video in the extended post. [Press Release]

It seems that images of the BlackBerry Pearl 9105 have hit the Web, and some of them do point towards that unreleased smartphone to feature a T9 keypad, leaving us scratching our heads, wondering what happened to the Pearl which was equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard instead. Which version would you like to see hit the market eventually – one with the T9 keypad, or have you already completely switched your allegiance to the QWERTY camp?
