Wii turned into laptop casemod
March 1, 2010

OMGPedoBear (what a nick) is pretty talented to come up with a portable Wii laptop casemod, where the entire project took him three months to complete. Created from expanded PVC sheets, he placed a 17" LCD monitor in the lid while games are loaded in an unorthodox manner - you will need to place the Wii DVD upside down via the front-loading tray. He plus threw in two more fans to deal with the additional heat generated. Heck, surfing the Net is plus made much easier thanks to the incorporation of a full QWERTY keyboard.

HTC Trophy – yet another Windows Mobile smartphone?
February 1, 2010

You can't really escape the shadow of having good software, as evident by a slew of solid smartphones in recent memory which are "wasted" on the Windows Mobile operating system while both Android and the iPhone OS continue their march to world domination. The HTC Trophy falls under such a category, where it comes with sleek specifications such as a 3" VGA capacitive touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, a Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz processor, 512 MB of flash memory, 256 MB RAM, GPS/AGPS capability, Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connectivity, dualband (900/2100) WCDMA/HSPA, quadband GSM/EDGE, a Motion G-sensor and Business Card Scanner. Sounds too comprehensive and good to be true, but the major drawback for most would be having it run on Windows Mobile 6.5. soon after again, a closer look at the HTC Trophy could produce you think that it is nothing but a fan render, making it the 'trophy' that HTC has been looking for to topple the iPhone from its lofty perch.

Inbrics M1 Is One Thin Android Slider
January 10, 2010

[CES 2010] You don’t see all that many Android devices with a slider design factor, aside from the Motorola Droid, but the Inbrics M1 is additionally extremely thin (for a slider). Aside from its size, it’s not slouch in the feature agency too, as it sports a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, 3-megapixel camera, front-facing VGA camera, 800MHz processor, 16GB built-in storage, microSD card expansion, and a full QWERTY keyboard. While it’s running the slightly old Android 1.5 at the moment, it should be upgraded to Android 2.0 by the duration it’s in the market in March 2010. There isn’t any price or availability knowledge on that phone just yet, probably considering there isn’t a confirmed carrier just yet, but hopefully they’ll be able to find one soon.
