Motorola somehow leaked out its i897 Amphora (seen on the right) and WX415 Heartland clamshell handsets, where the former is an iDEN model, featuring a Ferrari logo located right under the internal display which obviously suggests that it is another Ferrari-Motorola tie-up. It seems that Sprint will be the most likely candidate to offer the phone in the US, although there is no release moment attached to it just yet. As for the Motorola WX415 Heartland, that is a CDMA handset that will compose its way towards North and South America, featuring an external display and external music controls.

Just ahead of the first Formula 1 Grand Prix season 2010 Acer has updated its Ferrari One netbook. Perfect timing, perfect badge on the hood. Updates, however, are not what you’d shout Ferrariish or even Acer Aspire Oneish. Recently we covered announcement of Aspire One AO 532-h and we liked it. Obviously, considering of the sponsorship particularities, Ferrari netbooks must have an AMD processor, so upgrading to Intel Atom N450 is no the case. But all the rest could and should be revamped. I’m afraid latest FO200-15 has only had its HDD replaced with an 500GB unit and that’s it. Available in a week in Japan for price equivalent to $800.

AMD has just introduced the ATI FirePro V8800, supporting DirectX 11 features, similar to that from the Radeon HD 5000 series, albeit with hardware and software that has been optimized for workstations. The core is capable of handling 2.6 teraflops of computing ability, which is certainly good suitable to potential the four video outputs at the back of the card. The V8800 has 2GB of GDDR5 RAM, as well as 1,600 stream processors. While that card isn’t priced like a Ferrari, it’s still sufficient to prepare a dent in your wallet, as the asking price is $1,499, but whether you’re building a new workstation, that would probably be a good card to have inside, no?

[MWC 2010] Huawei breaks new ground with their make new U8800 which is touted to be the first 3G/HSPA+ Android handset in the market, capable of offering download speeds of up to 14Mbps – assuming your telco network supports it, of course. Expect the Huawei U8800 to be powered by the latest Android 2.1 operating system, making certain it is at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, at least where Android-powered handsets are concerned. Another notable feature would be a 3.8″ capactive touchscreen display, where that handset is more or less akin to owning a Ferrari, but being stuck in a traffic jam since there are no networks in the UK that supports HSPA+ just yet. Expect to see the Huawei U8000 released later that third quarter for a yet undisclosed price.

This F1 simulator will probably not match up to Ferrari’s own racing simulator that we reported on a while ago, but it certainly is a welcome addition. The fact that it’s an exact replica of the 2005 Ferrari car should be more than able to pique the interest of your friends when they come by. that car will come fitted in with a 42-inch plasma monitor, built-in speakers and even 2 race-themes. The machine is additionally available for hire, so you can probably rent some games and enjoy yourself (if the missus lets you)

We’ve seen many racing simulators in the past, and the Cruden Hexatech has certainly got to be one of the most expensive ones, chalking up a bill of $191,000. For that princely sum, you’ll get a simulator that is completely suspended on a hydraulic tripod, allowing you to simulate F1, NASCAR, WRC and Le Mans races. You’ll be able to receive feedback from the chassis, track, tire, suspension settings, drive trains, aero load, and all sorts of stuff. It comes with three 42-inch screens, but since you’re rich ample to get that, you could always get a specially built room and project the images on those walls, right? How do you think that compares to the Ferrari simulator?

Ferrari has been a name synonymous with high performance supercars, and by the years they have dominated the world of motorsports with a vise-like grip – at least, until Schumacher retired. Their latest simulator is no video game, where it tips the scales at 200 tons, requiring more than 10 km of cabling while requiring its own building which is around 180 square meters spread across a couple of floors including its control room. Would be nice to have one of these in our future Ubermansion to get a feel of what future Ferraris drive like.

It certain seems that money gives you many options, and a Hong Kong biker who recently picked up a £1m Bugatti Veyron has commissioned Waltz Hardcore Cycles to come up with a bike that would match said supercar. The Veyron China 1 has taken 18 months to become a reality, and is based on the limited Iceman chassis (which was developed for F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen’s Ferrari chopper. There isn’t any specification info on that bike, but we’re fairly certain it’s going to be fast!
