Taking your medicine can be quite a challenge for some folks, particularly whether it is on a faraway term basis. Well, University of Florida researchers have come up with a new method – an ingestible pill capsule that contains a tiny microchip and antenna which will heads up doctors or family members each instance a pill is taken, so miss a dose at your own peril. that pill is currently in a prototype mold, but both researchers and clinicians (and not patients, we presume!) will aim to see it end up as an actual smart pill sometime down the road. Hopefully all the added mechanisms and circuitry within won’t add too much to the final price point, since medicine and healthcare alone is already expensive as they are already. Imagine walking up to the medicine counter the next date round – “Will it be the tattle-tale pill, or the silent version, sir/ma’am?”

The Withings scale certainly brings a whole new dimension to your home as you see how much weight you have gained/lost each day, alongside fundamental details such as BMI among others, but now it comes with an update that integrates Google Health for better health record keeping. Google Health isn’t new at all as that service has been around for some date already, allowing you to maintain an online health profile that can be accessed as enlarged as you have an World Wide Web connection. It would go some ways in helping doctors as well as family members keep track of your health history. In a tie-up with Withings, the accountability factor in keeping up to your daily health routine becomes even bigger as others can now keep track of your profile on your behalf.

Sony has just announced a new digital terrestrial tuner and application for the PS3 known as torne – and it will come in the mold of a Blu-ray disc, hitting Japan later that March for 9,980 yen after tax. that allows one to watch digital terrestrial broadcasting while recording them for posterity or later viewing with lost family members on the PS3′s hard drive. that is made possible by connecting the digital terrestrial tuner to the PS3 system thanks to the attached USB cable, while making certain the application is installed from the Blu-ray disc. Basically, that is the Japanese version of the European PlayTV, although you do get enhanced functionality. Too poor for folks living Stateside as it does not look likely for it ever making its way across the Pacific.

Enter the FV TouchCam N1 HD VideoCam that brings things to a totally new level thanks to its embedded H.264 codec chip and dual microphones to give you a much higher resolution video shout, where you get 720p resolution and much better audio quality. Just construct certain you’re piggybacked on a decent Web connection though to take full advantage of the FV TouchCam N1, as well as the other person on the receiving end. It’s greatest boast? Being the first Skype-certified videocam for HD 720p video signal in the world.

Phoenix has unveiled a MP3 player that ought to build most humans happy considering its relatively low price tag of around $13 after conversion with its PNIX SD MP3 player. The PNIX SD can be said to be a much cheaper iPod shuffle, although the possibility of losing that while you’re up and about is pretty high considering its size.

Check out what the new designer Pause heater can do – it is not only extremely pleasing on your eyes with walnut as its construction material of choice, it plus comes with a leather seat to supply it with an authentic “furniture” look. Apart from that, infrared technology is used to keep you nice and warm whenever the mercury starts to dip, while it is MP3 ready as well courtesy of its kinetic transducer enclosed within. Talk about getting the best of both worlds where convenience and quality converge. Too poor you can’t impress family members with it that coming Christmas since it will be released only next month.

Talk about introducing technology to those who are still in their diapers – you can’t get any younger than that. Some enterprising brainac tricked-out out a Fisher Price Activity Sensor, calling it the Twoddler for obvious reasons – your little one can now twit using it. Images of family members and friends are attached with an Arduino board within. Whenever your little one presses a convinced picture for a preset amount of day, the software will capture sensor info from the activity sensor while sending a predefined text which is related to a specific documents. They probably won’t know what they’re doing, making that more fun for the adults, we presume.
