iPad Description: This is very lightly used 16GB Wi-Fi iPad that I brought brand new, unopened a couple weeks ago. I decided to sell it because I wanted to save up for a 3G iPad (or a 2nd gen one next year). It is in pristine condition – no marks, scratches. It’s literally in new condition. I put a Speck matte screen protector on the iPad, so feel free to keep it on or replace it with another screen protector (there’s one screen protector bubble on the screen, caused by one speck – excuse the pun – of dust trapped underneath ). The iPad comes with all the original accessories (USB dock cable and AC adapter) and the box. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you and happy bidding! Note: I will not ship internationally. Sorry, no exceptions. I will ship the item with signature confirmation and insurance.

Still hyped up by the Iron Man 2 movie? whether you want to show everybody your love for the movie, you could try building your own Arc Reactor to wear when you hit the streets. The best part about that DIY arc reactor is that it is connected to a heart rate monitor, causing the LEDs to beat to the rhythm of your heart, something different from the movies, eh? The instructions on how to build it have been posted online, so you really don’t have an excuse to not have a good Halloween costume anymore.

The TerreStar Genus which was unveiled at CTIA 2010 (finally, it is in the flesh!) is touted to be the first smartphone in the world that features 3G as well as satellite capabilities while running on the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 platform. Specifications include a 2.6” QVGA touchscreen display, 100MB of storage space, a 1,400 mAh battery, H.264 video playback, a 3-megapixel camera, GPS support, Wi-Fi, and connectivity with satellites. Basically, you have no excuse not to pick up a signal anymore since it is possible to receive a signal at all times, regardless of which part of the planet you’re on at the moment. It isn’t robotic though, so there is still a switch to flip to whether you want to juggle within satellite and 3G connectivity.

Well, whether you desperately want to be able to ride on water now, you can always do what some innovative chap by in China did. He turned an ordinary bicycle into an amphibious bike by attaching a few giant water bottles onto it to serve as pontoons, and added paddles to the wheels. It looks like you won’t be able to give the excuse that the ferry was late anymore, huh?

If you’re the type of person who is unhappy with today’s methods of mounting your LCD TV on the wall, you might want to check out the Atdec Telehook TH-400-LED, which allows you to hang your LCD TV on the wall just like how you’d hang your normal picture frame. that product which is going for AUD$149 ($136) can support any display up to 50kg in weight with a 400mm-wide VESA mounting gap pattern. The Telehook TH-400-LED can be even used in drywall applications, along with stud walls and brickwork, so it seems that you won’t have much more of an excuse the next date the missus nags and tells you to mount the LCD on the wall, eh?

Considering the open source nature of Firefox, it’s always fairly easy to guess and check out the new features that Mozilla is working on. Now it seems that Mozilla is planning a rather useful account manager, which should be particularly helpful to users who are logged into many sites at once. Initially, the support should include sites such as Facebook, Google and Yahoo!, not to mention 3 other Mozilla sites (Addons, Personas, and Bugzilla). With that in place, you’ll notice a key icon on your Firefox toolbar, and when you go on it, you’ll be able to check out the variety of sites that you’re currently logged into, and disconnect from any of them. Looks like you won’t have much of an excuse to post something weird on your partner’s Facebook detail anymore.
