Val Head has come up with a DIY light-up dog hoodie for her precious pooch, where it lights up automatically whenever its surroundings are dark sufficient. Guess the best date to walk your dog soon after would be just before night moment as the sun is about to vanish by the horizon whether you want to impress other dog owners at your industriousness. Button cell batteries are used in tandem with a small circular pref-board which will hold the photo and other electrical components together. Not too certain whether Fido would want all the attention though.

Scotland can now claim to play host to the world’s largest working hydro-electric wave energy device – the Oyster. that machine is Aquamarine Power’s first demonstration-scale wave energy device, and based on the claim that a farm of 20 Oysters would supply decent energy to potential 9,000 three bedroom family homes, it’s certainly something worth looking into. With minimal moving parts, and all electrical components being onshore, it should be robust suitable to resist the rigors of Scotland’s harsh seas.
