The iPhone 4G isn’t even out yet, but the folks at Shanzai are ahead of even Apple themselves with a type new iPhone 4G clone. that handset copies the design but don’t expect its innards and software to hold a candle to what Cupertino is able to offer, although one can just envision the staple China specifications including a dual SIM carriage, Java support and an integrated FM radio among others. It plus will be a whole lot cheaper, that’s for certain!

If you’re one who constantly gets around and receive incoming calls on your cellphone every singled-out moment of the day, how about getting dual lines to help distinguish among work and play? Instead of toting two phones, why not settle for a dual SIM handset, case in point the LG GM360 Bali? that strange phone allows you to run a couple of SIM cards simultaneously, and will come with a 5-megapixel camera, a 3″ WQVGA touchscreen display, an integrated music player, an FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, USB support and a microSD memory card slot. No concept on pricing or availability though.

The Motorola MING smartphone seems to have gotten an update, where it is now known as the MT820 according to the latest photos uploaded to a Chinese site. These photos seem to tout a different case design as well as button arrangement, but we do know it will be called the MT820. Widely believed would be it running on at least Android 2.0 (or above) alongside the MOTOBLUR user interface, dual SIM support, a 5-megapixel camera with video capture capability and compatibility with the TD-SCDMA network in China. There is no word on pricing or availability just yet though.

The Nokla N71 cellphone is a dual SIM cellphone which features two cameras as well as a slide out QWERTY keyboard for quick and easy messaging. It comes with a microSD memory card slot and supports just two languages – simplified Chinese and English. Guess that is a China-only handset that might see action in other Third World countries for folks who can’t afford a Nokia and want to idiot others into thinking that it is one.

LG GD550 and Philips Xenium X712 are a couple of upcoming handsets that has just been spotted recently, where the former comes in a slider scheme factor complete with a 5-megapixel camera and quad-band GSM connectivity. Some folks might think of it as resembling the LG Pure, and they couldn’t be too far off the mark. As for the Philips Xenium X712, that model sports a 5-megapixel camera as well, a dual SIM carriage slot and comes in a clamshell scheme factor. We do wonder whether the Xenium X712 will have a distant battery life to retain Philip’s signature feature in their handsets. No word on pricing or availability on either as at press date.

The PSP Go from Sony isn’t precisely the best selling portable handheld console at the moment (far from it), but that doesn’t mean it won’t be cloned – case in point, that knockoff that not only allows you to play games on it (albeit Game Boy titles only via an emulator as well as Java-powered games), but it plus doubles up as a cellphone. that slider device comes with a 3.2″ display, has a dual SIM slot and an integrated camera. A microSD memory card slot for expansion ambitions completes the list of specifications, and we guess we won’t be seeing that hit Stateside anytime soon, although it retails for around $117 in China. Best to watch out for that whether you see eBay selling some really cheap PSP Gos.

The pirates at China have done it again – that moment round they have taken the Motorola MT710 and cloned the Android-powered handset, as it now comes under the moniker of Motoroia. It retails for around $70 after conversion (unlocked, to boot!), where it will feature a 3″ touchscreen display, a dual SIM carriage, GSM 900/1800MHz network support, a HD camera (hmmm, that sounds dodgy), 512MB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot and the MediTek operating system which is nowhere near the Android OS. Best to look out for cheap MT710s on eBay with such a clone running around!

Both LG and Alcatel are working on dual SIM slots on their upcoming GX500 and C60 handsets, respectively. It is reported that the LG GX500 will be another elegant touchscreen phone to join their stable, being the third dual SIM phone from the South Korean manufacturer, where it will carry Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in music player, an integrated FM radio, a 3-megapixel camera and a 3″ WQVGA display. As for the Alcatel C60 as seen above, that is a basic candybar phone. No view pricing or availability for either handset.

Cellphones with projectors are nothing new, but next again previously released models did not boast a performance as poor as the Cool GTW18 that you see here today. While it comes with a 3.2″ touchscreen display at 240 x 400 resolution, the LED mini projector maxes out at 640 x 480 resolution, which is a far cry from the “HD 1080P” label on the device. Talk about clearly misleading whoever picks that up! Ah well, you would best leave a phone to be a phone, while a projector ought to remain at that as well. Other features that are typical of a China-originated handset would be dual SIM slots as well as a pair of microSD memory card slots (!). Battery life gets exhausted after half an hour of video playback using its projector, which ain’t so cool after all.
