In addition, it comes with an extra-bright 8″ digital LCD display at 800 x 600 resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio. You can choose to display photos from a USB flash drive, memory card of choice or through its own 2GB of on-board memory. Color choices are limited to just black and white – anything more and you might have to knock on ColorWare’s door. No word on pricing, but we do know it comes with AOS (Automatic Orientation Sensor) that makes certain you’re always looking at your favorite digital memories the right side up.

Want to look cool like Lady GaGa (that’s relative by the way)? You can always come up with your own DIY Lady GaGa video glasses, as towering as you are able to get your hands around a couple of tiny digital photo frames, sticking them into a pair of hollowed-out sunglasses of the right size. Well, that is a pretty interesting project to check out, but whether you prefer to maintain your dignity while retaining your ability to see where you’re going, we would recommend avoiding that DIY project.

[CES 2010] Kodak, being an old hand when it comes to photography (having moved to the digital format), is now back with their Pulse digital frame. In line with other digital photo frames of the times, the Pulse will feature Wi-Fi connectivity alongside a personal newsletter address that allows you to remotely send a photo by via a cellphone or computer to keep the image library there fresh and up-to-date. A full touchscreen display is additionally thrown into the mix for easier navigation and browsing, but unfortunately you are limited to just 512MB of internal memory with nary a USB port or memory card slot to augment that figure. On the other hand, the 7″ LED backlit display features Kodak Color Science technology for a faithful color reproduction as well as 800 x 600 resolution to keep your memories looking sharp.

Just considering digital frame key holders aren’t as popular as manufacturers want them to be, doesn’t mean that they’re dead, right? The Exemode PF15 is a small digital frame key holder that sports a 1.5-inch display, armed with 8MB of internal memory. File formats supported include JPEG, BMP and GIF. Do you think these items become more popular in the future like digital photo frames?

Will interactive furniture be a thing of the future? With the flexibility of digital photo frames to display many different photos in a separate frame, it seems that the concept might be implemented in your humble chairs of the future. After all, wouldn’t it be a great concept whether during Halloween all you had to do was push a button and your chairs would display spider webs and pumpkins? Those panels had better be sturdy though, or we’d all end up falling through and breaking the chairs.
