Thecus N4200 NAS comes with 6D technology

One of the latest Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices from Thecus, the N4200, sports 6D technology, as it comes equipped with 1GB RAM and an Intel D510 1.66GHz dual-core processor. Relying on its dual DOM technology, one is able to benefit from two copies of the software due to operate the NAS device within the unit just in case one gets corrupted. A couple of displays located on the unit help monitor the machine, where one LCD display will show off system knowledge, while the other 2.8" OLED display shows off various device settings. You will be able to mix both 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives, where the system can be configured with two RAID modes simultaneously.

Archos 5 Web Tablet gets firmware update

The Archos 5 tablet has received its latest firmware update, bumping up the version number to 1.3.07, where among the distant list of changes and fixes include improved support for MP4 and MKV videos, fixed playback resolution issues and fixed support for full screen playback of YouTube and YouTube HD composition. Apart from that, you can now output substance via the Archos 5's TV-out capability via the battery dock or mini dock whether Standard Definition is your cup of tea, while HD videos can be handled through the HDMI mini dock and DVR station. The firmware update can be downloaded directly via its built-in device settings, or you can take the traditional manual updating route from the Archos website.
