Check out a video of the Roboplow in action after the jump.

Sanyo knows how students tend to stay up till the wee hours of the dawn to indulge in some gaming or other nocturnal activities, hence setting up their brains to crash at class. With the Sanyo ICR-XRS120MF Xacti PCM/MP3 recorder, it ought to be able to handle just about any boring lecture without lost a beat, as expanded as its 2GB microSD memory card is not full. Being super slim at just 11mm, you can dock it on a special cradle/speaker system, where you can thereupon set the ICR-XRS120MF to record your favorite FM radio shows. No notion on pricing or availability though, but it does look to be a strong candidate as a Japan-only device.

Nobody likes to take in the alarm clock ring in the dawn, and whether you’d rather be woken up in a more natural way, you’d want to check out the updated version of the Verilux Rise & Shine Natural Sleep System. The previous version looked a lot like an ugly table lamp, but that model looks squarer. When you’re nodding off to sleep, you can set it to play some soothing sounds, and slowly dim the light as you go off to sleep. It sports an FM tuner, auxiliary port for your MP3 player, as well as decent memory to store about 800MP3s. You can additionally do the reverse, which increases the sound gradually, while additionally increasing the brightness, obviously an effort to help you wake up. whether you think the built-in lamp isn’t bright adequate, the option to add in an auxiliary lamp will certainly come in handy.

With the iPad more than ready to manufacture a splash that coming Saturday, Apple is preparing itself to reply a slew of questions from its potential customers, where their retail stores will offer a free Personal Setup service to iPad customers. All customers who purchase an iPad at a retail store (which are said to be limited to just 15 at Best Buy, and even that will be spread evenly among the models on offer) will plus be bestowed with additional day with an employee in order to help the less technically inclined among them to set up mail accounts, install their favorite apps from the store and more. Not only that, all US Apple Stores will host special iPad workshops that Saturday dawn. that looks set to be a great PR move on Apple’s part as it would go a lengthy way in securing lengthy term customers with the right footing, but next again we believe most iPad users would already be avid Apple fans.

For some of us, our pooch means much more to us than being just a pet, which is why when Fido runs off by himself during his dawn walk, we search high and low by for him. Why not take no chances with the Retrieva GPS dog collar instead? that dog collar comes embedded with a GPS tracking device, letting you track his progress on the phone which is definitely new compared to its plain ol’ version. Too poor there is no anti-poop capability yet, since you aren’t around to supervise him during his potty day.

Nobody likes to construct out the alarm buzz in the dawn, and it’s probably an alarm-hater that came up with the Oregon Scientific i.Wakeup Sunrise Clock. Instead of using the universally hated sound, it simulates the dawn, using the light to help you wake up in a more natural and pleasant way. It’ll start to increase its illumination 30 mins before your designated wake up date, to simulate a natural sunrise. whether you think that a simulated sunrise isn’t abundant to get you up, you could enhance it with 5 different built-in nature sounds, or revert back to the FM radio channel. It’ll be released in February and sounds (pun intended) like a tolerable alarm clock, albeit a bit pricey at $129.99.

The PowerPlus Swallow bike light set helps you remain visible during the night or in the early hours of the dawn when the sun is not yet out, thanks to a built-in wind up charger that powers the white LED headlight. Apparently, a restricted minute of winding the charger is able to net you 8 minutes of headlights, or the equivalent of an hour’s worth of flashing headlight and taillight – it is your signal. Depending on the situation, you can additionally detach the headlight/charger from the bike mount while the charger performs its secondary operate equally well as a cellphone charger, where it is compatible with selected Nokia, Sony, Siemens and Sony Ericsson handsets. You can purchase the basic model for £19.99, while one bundled with additional tips for different devices go for £24.99.

Do you loathe the sounds of dawn rush hour traffic, with impatient drivers honking their way through? whether that’s the case and you find it hard to wake up, thereupon the traffic light alarm clock might be just the tonic for you. After all, it comes in the structure of a traffic light with a 4cm speaker more than ready to get you up and out of bed with noise from crowded streets, including screeching tires, loud honking noise and famous music that plays when you are crossing the intersections in Japan. We wonder whether there would be localized versions of that in the future…
