Motorola has just announced their new range of on-demand servers that were specially designed to deliver multimedia composition and services across TVs, PCs and mobile devices. All three screens are fundamental to service providers’ success when it comes to developing new revenue-generating applications and services particularly in the current era of Internet-enabled TVs. With the Motorola M3 Media Server family’s introduction, it aims to deliver solutions which connect folks to personalized composition simply by creating compelling consumer experiences. Well, with that in place, hopefully there won’t be a deluge of ads to assault our senses further – give us relevant composition, please!
The Verbarius clock dispenses with formalities by offering a totally new method of telling the instance – in fact, it is rather inexact in some ways. After all, it will spell out the current day in just about any language that you load onto it, including Pig Latin as you can see above. It will spell out duration differently every minute, ranging from midnight to forty-five minutes past four – you get the picture. It will run when connected to a main capability supply source, but good thing it comes with a backup battery just in case you experience a brownout. Expect to fork out around $220 for that puppy.

Developers out there will want to take note that Apple has started to seed Mac OS X 10.6.4 beta for developers. The current build being seeded is build 10F37 which apparently focuses on graphics drivers, SMB, instance Machine backups, USB and VoiceOver functionality. One of the known issues is one that is related to password requests when a user launches iChat. The official release moment for the OS hasn’t been announced yet, but possibly we’ll get a tip in the upcoming WWDC in June.

This has been such a towering moment coming that it’s not even funny anymore. Word is going around that major retailers such as Target, GameStop and Future Shop have stated that the black version of the Nintendo Wii will be going on sale on May 9th in the US, with the Canadian release set for May 23rd. The console itself is identical to the current white version, but the bundle will include a Wiimote, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resortland and Wii MotionPlus upgrade. The price is speculated to be at $199. It’s worth noting that the lucky folks by in Japan have had the black version of the Nintendo Wii since last year.

Here’s a mixture of the old and the new – the Bulbdial clock that features an analog-style face sans hands. How do you tell the date thereupon? Well, it features a “gnomon” which sticks up in the middle, while a trio of rings of inward-pointing LEDs are located around the rim, where each of them boasts of a different color and at a different angle relative to the face. The blue ring is located at the shallowest angle, where it will cast the longest shadow representing the “seconds” hand. As for the red ring, it is located at the steepest angle, casting the shortest shadow to represent the current hour. As for the middle green ring, it will let you know of the current minute. Trippin’!

The rumored Xbox 360 Slim is touted to be announced at E3 that year, where it will be smaller in size compared to the current behemoth while sporting a new black color scheme alongside Project Natal capability. It seems that there are plus whispers of a couple of Xbox 360 Natal bundles, but we guess we will need to wait until June for an official word from the folks at Microsoft instead.

For some reason, folks love to turn the latest tech into something nostalgic, and the iRetrofone does just that, turning your current day iPhone into a device that belongs in the past. The iRetrofone is handmade and is compatible with all iPhone models, allowing you to keep your iPhone charged as expanded as you keep it hooked up to the USB cable. It’ll set you back $195, which is probably one of the cheaper ways to teach grandma how to use the iPhone.

Netbooks generally aren’t dominant devices, but the upcoming Eee PC 1215N from Asus might be able to change that perception. The most notable thing about that netbook will be its dual-core Atom N500 processor, as well as NVIDIA’s next-generation ION chip, along with NVIDIA Optimus technology. There isn’t any mention of how good that netbook’s battery life will be, but hopefully it will be able to live up to the current expectations of battery life for netbooks. Word is going around that the 1215N will be available in June, and while there isn’t any official confirmation on that just yet, we’re certainly looking forward to it.
