Digital Analog watch
February 19, 2010

Isn't the Digital Analog watch an oxymoron? Not quite, as it merges the best of both worlds to offer something different on your wrist the next instance you head out with the boys (or girls). The Digital Analog watch will carry a contemporary digital display despite working like your everyday analog timepiece, showing off details including the period, day of the week and AM/PM. You can choose to switch the AM/PM option to the seconds counter whether that's your cup of tea (and can tell whether it is daytime or not by looking outside), while a magnetic wristband helps secure the watch around the wrist. that strange design will enter production soon thanks to Cadence Watch Company.

February 11, 2010

Are you on an extremely tight budget and yet want a projector that is small and portable and yet offers a decent performance? The Generic Mini-USB pico projector might be just your cup of tea, as that $149 pico projector comes with the standard 640 x 480 resolution, throwing a display of up to 50" in size. Strangely suitable, our source says that it can only operate with a notebook - but a quick check with the product page on Amazon shows otherwise, as expanded as there is a USB 2.0 port on your machine, it can work. Guess nobody would want to lug their desktop around when making presentations, hence that assumption.

Inbrics MID M1 to be announced at MWC 2010
February 8, 2010

Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2010 which will be held at Barcelona, Spain, next week is the platform where Inbrics announces its new Android-powered MID M1 which will come with a 3.7" AMOLED touchscreen display alongside a slide-out QWERTY keyboard just in case dealing with a virtual keyboard is just not your cup of tea. Of course, you get the entire range of connectivity options that most of us take for granted these days, including Wi-Fi, GPS support, Bluetooth, 3G or WiMAX. Apart from that, there is a 3-megapixel camera to capture your impromptu memories on the go, a front-facing VGA camera for video calls, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot. The Inbrics M1 doubles up as a phone and a media controller for multiple devices, and we are still wary on how well that will sell. We believe a lot of it will hinge on the price point, so let us wait until Inbrics rolls it out to the mass market officially that year or early 2011.
