When it comes to buying gadgets, aside from the features of it, the most common question would be how much it costs. With that in mind, it looks like the price of adopting a device powered by Google’s Chrome OS won’t be too expensive, as Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, has mentioned during the Atmosphere Cloud Computing Forum that the devices are estimated to cost amidst $300-$400. The costs will mostly be associated with the hardware as the operating system (OS) itself is free. The expensive part of the software will be developing the web apps, which is something that Google is obviously good at. It will be very interesting to see how the market will be affected by devices powered by Google’s Chrome OS, Apple’s iPad and Windows-powered netbooks. We’re looking forward to some healthy competition. You can check out the video in the full post. It’s about 40 minutes faraway, so grab a cup of coffee and sit back.

Want to do some light travelling around the city? The Urban Scooter, designed by Daniel Dayag, concept looks pretty neat and should do the job. Of course, it being a scooter, you can’t expect to lug anything around aside from yourself, but whether you just needed to pop by the next block to have a cup of coffee at Starbucks, that might be just the thing. The spoke-less wheel design plus makes it stand out from the other dinky scooters that you might come across out there, ensuring that you prepare a statement.

Don’t have a secretary to assemble your coffee for you every daylight? We can understand that, and that’s precisely what robots are for, right? Clockwork’s little robot is one cute little robot that we wouldn’t mind having around the office, though, particularly since it seems to build a mean cup of coffee. With robots like these, who would ever want to manufacture their own cup of coffee, right? Video of that robot in action after the jump.

For many of us, it is a nice, hot cup of coffee that keeps us going through the day, which strangely decent is the same case for the Carpuccino that you see above. What used to be a standard 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco is now a coffee-powered car, but mileage isn’t that ideal (and a waste of good coffee, we might add) since it requires 56 espressos for a without mile. It will run on any sort as lengthy as the coffee is very dry and comes in a pellet scheme factor that enables the air to move through the pile of coffee as it burns.

Star Wars fans with a cable clutter problem might want to check out that DIY AT-AT Walker home theater cable management system that’s up for sale. Aside from making your living room look incredibly cool (mainly for the Star Wars reference, less so the lack of cable clutter), you’ll plus have something nice to talk about when your other friends come by for a cup of coffee. It’ll set you back $8, but that’s a small price to pay for something like that, right? Now they only have to come up with a Death Star version of that anti-clutter machine, and we’ll all have a nice happy ending.

We’ve taken a look at the voice-controlled piano, and here’s another device that will definitely capture your attention – the Speak n’ Brew coffee maker from Primula Products. Capable of churning out up to 10 cups of coffee, Speak n’ Brew holds the distinction of being the first of its kind in the world to recognize voice commands. After all, your brain might not get started so early in the dawn right after getting out of bed, so why not speak out your mind and let that subservient machine get up and about to brew your that perfect cup of coffee? Surprisingly sufficient, for something that we deem might be expensive ain’t too shabby at $79.99.
