While there have been many folks saying that the Xperia X10 Mini would be arriving on Vodafone UK, there wasn’t any official confirmation before that. Now the May issue of the Vodafone Magazine clearly shows that the Xperia X10 Mini is “coming soon”, as pictured above. The downside is that there wasn’t any release term or price mentioned, but speculation pins the phone to be launched in the summer, possibly at a rather appealing price. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated.

Nokia’s X-series mobile phones are hip looking music phones, and the X2 is a budget phone that still manages to fit into that category. The phone maintains the tried and tested candybar design and shouldn’t break the bank at €85($112) before carrier subsidies. The phone supports Nokia’s Comes with Music service, offering unlimited music for a whole year, though there isn’t any confirmation whether that service will be offered in the UK just yet. Technical specifications of that phone include:

In a recent discussion, Motorola Co-CEO Sanjay Jha has confirmed that the cell phone giant is very engaged in the tablet arena and is still intimately involved in said market, causing speculation that Motorola would be interested in coming up with its own tablet device. While that is certainly a good tip that Motorola is keeping tabs on the tablet device industry, there isn’t any official confirmation that Motorola would be looking into coming up with its own tablet device just yet, but with so many major manufacturers gearing up to get a taste of the tablet scene, it’s not too farfetched to think that Motorola might eventually roll out a device to compete with the iPad.

While there seems to be quite some evidence that the upcoming iPhone 4G will offer video chat, but recent updates from folks who have been delving into the iPhone OS 4 Beta 2 SDK tip that while video chat might be possible, it seems that it could be restricted to Wi-Fi only, meaning that you won’t be able to use video chat by a 3G connection. Of course, there isn’t any official confirmation on that just yet, but considering the known fact that AT&T’s network is already under a lot of strain due to the iPhone’s info usage, it wouldn’t be too surprising whether that were true, it would still be quite disappointing, though.

There isn’t any official confirmation on that just yet, so we believe it should stay firmly in the rumor bin at the moment. It seems that in the latest episode of CNET’s Buzz Out Loud, it was said that Cisco is busy working on a 7-inch Android-powered tablet device, one that would most likely be used for business communication. While detailed specifications weren’t provided, rumored specifications include a front-facing camera, dual microphones with noise cancellation and possible support for Cisco-oriented features such as VPN access and WebEx for meetings. Do you think the tablet market need another device, or is it already getting crowded as it is?

Netbooks generally aren’t dominant devices, but the upcoming Eee PC 1215N from Asus might be able to change that perception. The most notable thing about that netbook will be its dual-core Atom N500 processor, as well as NVIDIA’s next-generation ION chip, along with NVIDIA Optimus technology. There isn’t any mention of how good that netbook’s battery life will be, but hopefully it will be able to live up to the current expectations of battery life for netbooks. Word is going around that the 1215N will be available in June, and while there isn’t any official confirmation on that just yet, we’re certainly looking forward to it.

While there isn’t any official confirmation of that just yet, Steve Lee of Google has confirmed that the search engine giant is evaluating other platforms for its free navigation service. While the iPhone wasn’t specifically mentioned, it would produce sense for Google to come up with an iPhone version, considering it’s one of the more popular devices in the market today, though there are other options in the structure of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile or the upcoming Windows Phone 7. What do you think is that next platform that Google will offer its Google Maps Navigation service on?

This is still far from an official confirmation, but reports are coming in that the upcoming iPhone 4G could be powered by Apple’s A4 processor, which is the same processor used by the iPad. Considering the comfortable way the A4 processor is able to handle the iPad, it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise whether Apple did decide to use its homegrown A4 chip. Said chip is a modified, system-on-chip (SoC) design, based on ARM’s Cortex-A8. Taking into detail that the A4 is able to churn out 720p video playback, there’s a high possibility that the iPhone 4G will be able to churn out HD video. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

If you’re an AT&T subscriber who has been patiently waiting for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 to be picked up by your carrier, there is some good news for you. According to the latest news, AT&T is looking to offer the phone around the end of July and the beginning of August. Of course, since there isn’t an official confirmation, anything can be changed, so we’ll still need to keep tabs on it. With Sprint and Verizon offering some really cool Android-powered phones in the HTC EVO 4G and Droid Incredible, it would certainly help AT&T whether it were to offer a cool Android phone. The fact that the X10 is powered by Android 1.6 whilst the others are touting the latest and greatest Android 2.1 probably isn’t good news for Sony Ericsson, but the phone should be getting an Android 2.1 update somewhere along the line. Are you willing to hold out for the Xperia X10 on AT&T, or have you already been tempted by something else?
