Well, that’s precisely what the Olive Telecommunication company by in India is offering – India’s first dual-powered mobile phone that supports AAA batteries. Despite the phone, the FrvrOn V-G2300, being a low-end handset, the fact that it supports AAA batteries as a potential source would prepare that phone an ideal companion whether you’re going camping or somewhere where there isn’t any electricity available. There aren’t any cool features to brag about with phone that sports a 1.5–inch 128 x 128 pixel CSTN display, FM radio, speakerphone and some preloaded games. Most citizens wouldn’t think that a watch could help them in their golf game, but they obviously didn’t have the Reconvilier Hercules Golf Master watch. that rotating date piece has your classic analog display on one side, but whether you flip it by, you’ll be able to see the digital measurements of distance to the green, thanks to GPS technology. In case you’re scratching your head in confusion, the watch will need to be connected to a base station “caddie”, which will automatically obtain golf course input in meters or yards before the game. Some folks might not be too happy that you’re using an electronic aid to beat them in a game of golf, so you might want to be careful while using that watch with positive humans.

Toshiba Cell TV HDTV
January 10, 2010

[CES 2010] Toshiba certainly didn’t want to miss out the fun at CES, and has announced its latest and greatest HDTV, the Cell TV, along with a companion media center set-top box. One of the more notable features of the TV is its processing ability, which Toshiba boasts is ten times that of more personal computers, and 143 times faster than most LCD TVs on the market today. While processing ability is rarely mentioned when it comes to TVs, that will come into to play here due to the TVs 2D to 3D conversion, converting normal 2D pictures into what it would look like in 3D, even at 1080p. Do you think you’d want to look into such a TV? It’ll be available in 46, 55 and 65-inch models. While pricing info hasn’t been announced just yet, the device should be going on sale in Q3 or Q4 of 2010.
