I bought it for my sisters birthday and told her she could take it back if she wanted the new iPod instead. Unfortunately Best Buy only takes returns up to 14 days. I’ve only had it for 30 days now and I removed it from the box to sync it with itunes but that’s the extent of it’s use. It went right back into the box and has been there since. It’s in brand new condition and it also comes with a leather case that I paid $40 for a Targus stylus that works amazingly well and cost me $20 and a screen protector that has already been installed. Of course, it will also come in the original box with the original a/c adapter and usb cable.
Do you sometimes feel irritated when your webcam focuses on one object, only to have the background blurred beyond recognition? While the effect looks great in photography, it’s not something that you’d want all the duration with a video camera. Now the folks by at the University of Toronto have come up with the Omni-focus camera, using a new distance-mapping principle, allowing it to deliver real-time motorized focus on both near and far images in high resolution. that camera integrates a Divergence-ratio Axi-vision camera (Divcam) with an array of colors to map the distance info for every pixel in the scene in real instance. The output of camera is soon after selected individually pixel by pixel to generate the final image. Sounds pretty fancy, doesn’t it?

Epson has unveiled its new WorkForce 520 all-in-one printer, scanner, copier and fax machine. that machine claims to be the fastest offering in its category, offering 15 ppm (pages per minute) in black and 5 ppm in color. The benefits of the built-in Wi-Fi radio become obvious when you want to get some printing done and your PC is father away. The 30-page self-moving document feeder (ADF) should plus go some way to making your life in the office easier. whether you need to scan documents, it’s able to scan directly to e mail and PDF at up to 2,400 DPI resolution. The use of five individual ink cartridges mean you only need to replace the cartridge that is empty, instead of a set of colors, helping you shave some costs.

Even considering Apple’s track record of being very much into patents, it still might come as a surprise to some of you that Apple has filed trademark motions on a few of its official app icons. The description of the icons is rather detailed, describing the rounded corners, camera lens and colors of the Camera app icon. Do you think Apple did a good job designing those icons, or are you confident of coming up with something better?
