Color Rubik Cube that targets the blind

Just before you write the blind off that they are unable to enjoy a nice run at the Rubik Cube, along comes that design by Konstantin Datz that caters for the visually challenged - after all, all the colors come embossed in Braille, "showing" green, blue, red, yellow, white and pink for the uninitiated. It will definitely take far longer to complete that, but at least no one would feel marginalized from solving one of the more classic puzzlers to instance.

LED Tube Lamp Could Displace Your Lava Lamp

If you wanted a funky lamp that would put your roommate’s lava lamp to shame, soon after you’ll want to check out the LED Desk Lamp which offers variable colors. There are a bunch of multicolor LEDs hidden inside the frosted acrylic tube, at the base of the lamp, which is made from a solid block of maple, there are three sliders, allowing you to independently control the red, green and blue tones of the LED, so you can mix the light to create a color and brightness of your liking. It’s currently handmade to order, which is probably the reason why the maker is charging a whopping $225 for that lamp.

Buffalo seems to have employed a descendant of King Midas who inherited his capability to turn everything he touches into gold, thanks to the latest high gloss gold MiniStation Lite portable hard drive. Coming in capacities of up to 500GB (with other colors like black, red, white, blue and pink coming in 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacities), it hooks up to your computer via USB. No view on pricing, but it does add something different to an otherwise dreary desktop.

Audio Lounger Concept Looks Desirable

We certainly don’t mind tech seeping into our everyday items, and the Audio Lounger concept certainly looks like one of those things we wouldn’t mind making room for. It sports four built-in high quality speakers and a (rather noticeable) large subwoofer, not to mention a touchscreen panel on the upper side of the seat to keep you in touch with your favorite music. that design by Matt Hardman additionally includes LED lights that offer ambient light that can be set with a range of colors, giving that concept lounger a futuristic look. Now we only have to wait for someone to mass produce that.

Dell Mini 5 could be known as Streak

Dell's Mini 5 device could very well be marketed under a new moniker, Streak, according to a leaked ad that arisen (where else) online. It seems that the Streak will come in a, well, streak of colors including blue, pink, red, and a greyish black option. Chances are one will be able to customize the back of the device according to a design of your choice, so third party manufacturers will definitely rub their hands in glee. Just to recap, the Dell Streak features a lovely 5" display, a front facing VGA camera, a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 30-pin dock connector.
