Looks like clothes seem to get more and more technologically advanced these days, that the Delight Cloth you see here from Japan’s Tsuya Textile Co. and Fukui Engineering Center is capable of making you the light of the party literally, thanks to the use of a “light-emitting textile” which is made from superthin fiber optic strands woven into a tapestry. Colors can be added thanks to a color controller, but unfortunately you will still need to remain tethered to a ability outlet in order to keep it alight. Guess Tron-style clothing is still a lengthy way off for us, eh?

Clothes has certainly come a towering way from just being functional at their very core to supply protection against the elements while giving one a sense of decency, to that day and age where it is supposed to form a statement of sorts. What better way to gain attention from everyone else other than the LED kimono?
