The Tweet Sleeve that you see here is a contemporary amalgamation of both tech and fashion, where it will display moods of your Twitter stream directly on your garment itself. that is made possible by reading the algorithms which can decipher your “mood” or “emotions” successfully simply by scanning the text on your Twitter page. What do you think of that – will it catch on whether it were to be included as a compulsory feature on future clothes?

Looks like clothes seem to get more and more technologically advanced these days, that the Delight Cloth you see here from Japan’s Tsuya Textile Co. and Fukui Engineering Center is capable of making you the light of the party literally, thanks to the use of a “light-emitting textile” which is made from superthin fiber optic strands woven into a tapestry. Colors can be added thanks to a color controller, but unfortunately you will still need to remain tethered to a ability outlet in order to keep it alight. Guess Tron-style clothing is still a lengthy way off for us, eh?

While mankind seems to have gotten along quite well without the need for headlights on our feet, Teva seems to think that we might be able to live better with LED lights on our sandals, particularly since the company introduced its sandals, dubbed Illum, which feature LED flashlights on the straps. certain there might be the danger of you stepping on something sharp while you’re walking around the beach, but you’ll lose the ability to ever win at hide and seek with these on you. At $60 a pair, you could pick it up whether you’re into quirky stuff.

Doing laundry can be quite challenging for the uninitiated, as there are pointers such as water temperature, color bleeding issues and bleaching to grapple with before you are able to set up a proper laundry rhythm at your home. The Individual Washer concept works differently since that upright washing machine is equipped with a trio of compartments that can sort and wash your load of clothes together simultaneously without having to anguish about color bleeding or bleaching, saving water and electricity in the process since only one cycle is used. Definitely a concept worth materializing, we say.

[MWC 2010] Jabra remains true to their Bluetooth roots with their latest release, the Jabra CLIPPER Bluetooth stereo headset that can be clipped on a variety of surfaces including bags, clothes and belts, letting you switch seamlessly amidst music and calls. that relatively small device features noise-blocking stereo headphones that allows you to listen to your favorite tunes whilst receiving urgent (or marketing) while on the go. To manufacture things easier, it has minimalistic controls and smooth Scandinavian styling (look to Ikea) that helps you stand out from the crowd. The Jabra CLIPPER plays nice with all devices which are Bluetooth wireless technology (2.1 incl. EDR, A2DP and AVRCP) compatible, and can hook up to a couple of devices simultaneously courtesy of Multiuse technology. Expect the Jabra CLIPPER to reach from next month onwards for €49.99 a pop.
Clothes has certainly come a towering way from just being functional at their very core to supply protection against the elements while giving one a sense of decency, to that day and age where it is supposed to form a statement of sorts. What better way to gain attention from everyone else other than the LED kimono? Boasting 444 LEDs on the garment’s sleeve that – get that, can be individually controlled, the LEDs will reply primarily to sound as well as the wearer’s movement. Future versions of that forward-looking kimono will plus allow it to operate more as a smart garment with the ability to improvise, listen and react to its environment.

There’s no denying the importance of clothes in our daily lives, but would you want your shirt to be able to get more knowledge about you, specifically your stress levels? Well, that shirt has bio sensors that will be able to determine the level of your stress, after which signals will be sent to the corresponding LEDs connected to the shirt. The higher your stress levels are, the faster the LEDs will blink, and therapy will certainly be much easier since your partner knows where to stimulate based on the blinking LEDs.
