Mendor blood glucose meter

Mendor has a type new blood glucose meter which is tipped to hit Europe pretty soon, where it comes with an integrated mechanical lancer and pop quiz strips. that makes it a pretty comprehensive package all by itself without taking up too much space since it measures roughly the same size as that of a cellphone. Would be interesting to see whether future first aid kits will throw in the Mendor blood glucose meter as part of the package.

Cool GTW18 cellphone packs a projector

Cool GTW18 cellphone packs a projector

Cellphones with projectors are nothing new, but next again previously released models did not boast a performance as poor as the Cool GTW18 that you see here today. While it comes with a 3.2" touchscreen display at 240 x 400 resolution, the LED mini projector maxes out at 640 x 480 resolution, which is a far cry from the "HD 1080P" label on the device. Talk about clearly misleading whoever picks that up! Ah well, you would best leave a phone to be a phone, while a projector ought to remain at that as well. Other features that are typical of a China-originated handset would be dual SIM slots as well as a pair of microSD memory card slots (!). Battery life gets exhausted after half an hour of video playback using its projector, which ain't so cool after all.

Qualcomm foldable touchscreen tablet patent

Qualcomm has a patent filing of theirs published today which points toward a possible foldable touchscreen tablet. that device will merge a trio of touchscreen displays into a loner device, where its interface will change depending on the context. When fully folded, it will operate just like a standard cellphone, and when unfolded to its full glory, it will have a variety of roles, depending on the position of each individual display. While that is does not necessarily indicate an actual device, a finished product is still possible.
