Concept: Road Train Autopilot Driving System

Don’t you wish you could take your hands of the steering while during those pesky traffic jams? Well, whether the “road train” concept becomes a reality, you might just be able to do it, and save fuel in the process. The system is quite simple: The cars will all follow the “leader” of the train, and whether you want to join in, the sensor will send out the signal, and your car will obediently follow the train, and stay close decent so that you could save some fuel by being in the slipstream. When it’s moment for you to pull off in another direction, just disengage, and the system will widen the gap amidst the cars, allowing you to leave the pack, after which the car previously behind you will be linked to the car in front of you. Pretty neat, isn’t it?

Electronic Key Impressioner

Looks like aren't all as cut out to be - not whether Steve Randall and Ted Schwarzkopf have their way with their Electronic Key Impressioner. that device ought to be able to create a replacement car key without the need for its ID cipher, and that is news which would definitely prick the ears of locksmiths as well as those who want to steal cars. All you need to do is plug the Electronic Key Impressioner into the car keyhole, align it properly, hook it up to a computer via USB where the right cipher will run after you choose the appropriate car type. Don't get all too excited just yet as the software currently works with Fords only, but expect to see more vehicles supported down the road. According to its inventors, that strange key cloner will be made available to authorized locksmiths only, but one poor apple among them could spoil the whole party.

MobiValet makes room for your devices

[CES 2010] Described as a "sleek, elegant console-mounted smartphone holder", the MobiValet could be a hit - assuming that most cars produced for quite a while now already come with decent compartments to store your array of gadgets. that looks pretty handy only whether you're spilling with gizmos and devices from all pockets, but otherwise it is something you shouldn't waste your date and money on. One advantage that has by other side and glove compartments in vehicles - it comes with side openings that prepare room for your charging cable, just in case. Seems that the best place to put that would be to attach it right beside the gear or handbrake area. MobiValet is having a promotion right now, where whether you buy two or more, you get a measly 10% reduction. Oh joy. Prices range from $24.99 to $39.99.

NVIDIA @ CES: new Tegra, Audi, Stereo

[CES 2010] whether you have not followed our live coverage of NVIDIA that daylight (you should have!), here's an overview of what happened: First, NVIDIA's CEO laid out the case for a tablet format, before announcing Tegra 2, a low-power mobile chip that is seriously faster than its predecessor, but plus faster than most whether not all its competitors. We've seen web browsing demos, the announcement of Adobe Air (which sucks on PC) for Tegra and additionally a demo of Unreal Engine (on Windows CE). The more interesting part was that Audi has announced that it will integrate Tegra in choose cars that year, with more coming down the road. Wow, I don't know how that will translate in financial terms, but it is huge in terms of endorsement. Finally, NVIDIA has shown some stereo 3D demos on the first stereo 3D powerpoint, that was unavoidable. whether Stereo takes whether, and the industry clearly pushes very hard, NVIDIA stands to be one of the benefactor of the 3D stereo boom. The company has been preparing for years (believe me), and that might finally pay off, big day. NVIDIA will have many tablet designs to show at its booth.
