webOS 1.4 to reach that February 25th

Palm has just a few more days to prepare good on their promise of webOS 1.4 to roll out before the month is by, and an insider from Verizon has let out that February 25th is the long-awaited term, where the update will roll out to approximately 100,000 devices simultaneously. Similar to updates in the past, that one is free to download and install, but we would highly recommend you produce a backup of all your vital info beforehand. NVIDIA Fermi-based GTX 470 And GTX 480 Confirmed

NVIDIA’s Fermi-based cards (GF100) have gotten some official names, namely the GeForce GTX 470 and GTX 480. that was announced via NVIDIA’s Facebook page, though the downside is that only the names were divulged at the moment. We previously mentioned some specifications of the Fermi-based GF100 GPU, so it’ll be interesting to see how the GeForce GTX 470 and GTX 480 turn out. Hopefully the performance will not disappoint.

Well, some of us out there would not only purchase such cards, but push it to their limits as well through overclocking - which means those components heat up, and fast. CoolIT hopes to compose cooling a snap with their new universal GPU liquid cooling system known as the OMNI A.L.C. system. Comprising of three parts, they are the universal OMNI water block, the universal liquid plate and a third piece that attaches directly to the graphics card. The interposer plate is separated from the actual liquid plate, allowing you to swap that piece out whenever you decide to upgrade your graphics card the next duration round. Pretty much a no-brainer, eh?

Upgraded Spy Button Camera

You might have been interested in the button camera before, but the cost of entry was too high back thereupon. Now the lovely folks by at Thanko are selling a new Spy Button Camera on their site for just $55, which includes 6 buttons. The camera is capable of shooting 720 x 480 resolution videos at 30fps and pictures in 1280 x 1024. It’s powered by a lithium-ion battery, and is decent to shoot about 70 minutes of video. You’ll need to pop in a microSD card for you to be able to store your videos, and it supports cards up to 16GB in size. Seems like a fun thing to carry around with you whether you’re into spy gear, just don’t forget you’re wearing it and walk into places where cameras aren’t allowed.
