3M expands the pico projector line with the MPro150 model that was specially designed for business applications, although we are still wondering when will the day be when a pico projector offers more than VGA (640 x 480)-quality resolution and 15 ANSI lumens of brightness. Good news for folks living in the UK – the MPro150 is now available in that part of the world, where it is capable of playing nice with Microsoft Office documents and Adobe PDF files as well. Other options are a microSD memory card slot, a mini USB port, VGA, component and a composite connection. Just in case there are no desktop speakers to go along with that, there is always dual 0.5 watt speakers and a headphone jack for your personal listening satisfaction. 3M has plus thrown in 1GB of internal memory that instance round just to get you started right out of the box, coupled with a 2-hour battery life. Interested? The 3M MPro150 is going for $395.

Everyone knows that having a touchscreen display these days is the in thing, which could be why Panasonic decided to throw in such a screen into their KX-NT400 IP phone. Granted, that will most probably be seen at offices instead of a regular home, as that business phone will let you construct full use of its 5.7″ color touchscreen display to achieve quick and convenient access to Panasonic network cameras (up to 20 network cameras) as well as business applications on your company Intranet. Additional features include Bluetooth connectivity, four dozen programmable soft keys, an Easy Navigation Key for fast one-touch access to phone functions and ability by Ethernet capability among others.

Canon has a make new projector in town – the REALiS SX7 Mark II which was just announced, targeting business applications with its 4,000 ANSI lumens brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and SXGA+ (1,400 x 1,050) resolution. Thanks to its added brightness, it enables the projector to see action in brightly lit rooms without having to drop the blinds or turn off the lights. What makes the REALiS SX7 Mark II stand out would be its new Photo Image Mode that enables users to manufacture changes on-the-fly where projected subject matter is concerned. Out later next month, expect to fork out no more than $7,000 for the Canon REALiS SX7 Mark II. As the official press release indicates, they were thinking of all branches contemporary day computing could throw in. But these are just words. What they did precisely is compiled a number of memory kits all consisting entirely of DDR3 modules that one could own for a couple of years in advance without thinking of upgrading. Gaming, business applications or simply lots of running programs should really fit into 8GB capacity (2GB x 4) which is the smallest of what G.Skill has just rolled out.
