Virgin Mobile looks set to roll out a rather appealing deal for budget seekers with its new Beyond Talk pay-per-month plans that will offer unlimited text, mail, goods and Net. The cheapest plan will only set you back $25/month for 300 Anytime minutes, the $40 plan with 1200 Anytime minutes, and the unlimited plan which is priced at $60/month. Aside from that, the carrier is plus gearing up to launch the LG Rumor Touch, Kyocera Loft and the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8530, priced at $70, $150 and $300 respectively. It’s worth noting that Virgin Mobile’s Beyond Talk plans will additionally work with other devices from Virgin Mobile, so you do have some choice when it comes to devices.

Not everybody might want to sport a red colored cell phone, but you have to confess that that being constantly offered white or black colored phones will eventually become boring. A picture of a red BlackBerry Curve 8520 has surfaced, hinting that it could be possibly be offered on T-Mobile by May 19th. Aside from the color scheme, specifications are pretty much the same as the current BlackBerry Curve 8520.

An XML file has pointed towards the BlackBerry Curve 9300, where very little else is known about the upcoming smartphone at least until now. We do know that it will most likely be the next in line to take by wher the Curve 8500 left off, featuring its own 320 x 240 resolution display, 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity and at least HSPA for 3G. Not only that, it is equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, so that rules out a touchscreen display.

Interestingly decent, sales of the BlackBerry Curve 8500 were said to be spectacular ample that shortages are in store, according to RIM when discussing their latest fiscal results. A huge percentage of the 10.5 million BlackBerries shipped recently comprised of the entry level Curve 8500, and has left the company gasping for air to keep up with demand. These shortages are sustained suitable that RIM expects to hit a limit concerning the number of phones it can ship that coming spring, and already put up a warning that its stock would be “extremely low.” Hmmm, guess it just goes to show that no matter how high end of feature packed a phone can be, you must still cater to the average Joe who has limited spending ability whether you want to turn a profit.

Just a slightly a week after we managed to get hold of some pictures of a BlackBerry slider phone, more pictures of said device have surfaced. In the latest batch of leaked pictures, you’ll be able to see the side profile of the phone, compared with a BlackBerry Curve 8900. It seems that that device is probably not the Storm 3, but possibly another version of the BlackBerry Bold, particularly whether you take into detail its identical style to the current Bold 9700. Apparently there was a UAProf found on RIM’s site for a 9700a that sports a HVGA+ portrait display, which is obviously different from the current Bold 9700’s landscape display. Picture of the rear view of that BlackBerry slider showing off its new F-S1 battery after the jump.
