More BlackBerry Slider Phone Pictures Emerge

Just a slightly a week after we managed to get hold of some pictures of a BlackBerry slider phone, more pictures of said device have surfaced. In the latest batch of leaked pictures, you’ll be able to see the side profile of the phone, compared with a BlackBerry Curve 8900. It seems that that device is probably not the Storm 3, but possibly another version of the BlackBerry Bold, particularly whether you take into detail its identical style to the current Bold 9700. Apparently there was a UAProf found on RIM’s site for a 9700a that sports a HVGA+ portrait display, which is obviously different from the current Bold 9700’s landscape display. Skype Mobile App – Verizon and Skype Partnership

[MWC 2010] The partnership announced today will bring Skype to Verizon Wireless 3G smartphones in March, allowing Verizon customers to place free or cheap universal phone calls as well as offering Skype users around the world the ability to communicate with them. The Skype Mobile Application will be available in March for Verizon 3G smartphone users with notes plan, it includes:
- make and receive unlimited Skype-to-Skype voice calls to any Skype user in the world
- call worldly phone numbers at competitive Skype Out calling rates;
- send and receive instant messages to other Skype users;
- no additional fee, regular Skype fees arecharged,/li>
- remain always connected with the ability to see friends’ online presence.

Motorola Devour To Sport The Same CPU As Palm Pixi

If you’ve been eyeing the Motorola Devour, we’ve got a little tidbit of info that might pique your interest. It seems that the Devour will be powered by a Qualcomm MSM7627 processor, which is the same processor used by the Palm Pixi and BlackBerry Curve 8530. The MSM7627 comes from the ARM11 family, and sports a 600MHz application processor, which isn’t all that shabby. It’s plus been said that the Devour might be shipping with Android 1.6, though there is plus speculation that it might be powered by Android 2.1 by the instance it’s launched. In case you’ve forgotten, specifications of the Motorola Devour include:

T-Mobile Offering Free BlackBerry Trackball Replacement Program

T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearl and Curve users who are on T-Mobile’s network are in luck, as the company will be launching a Free BlackBerry Trackball Replacement program. It’s not too strange for a BlackBerry Pearl 8100/8120 or BlackBerry Curve 8320 to have a problematic trackball, which is probably why RIM has been using trackpads more often now. T-Mobile is now offering subscribers who own those phones and are having problems with the trackpad to visit the T-Mobile store, and have the trackball replaced. certain seems like great news for T-Mobile BlackBerry users.
