Home theatre systems are the bees knees when it comes to getting the closest possible experience to being in a cinema right in the comfort of your own home. They have been traditionally rather bulky, but it is nice to know that technology has advanced to such a degree that JVC is able to announce a couple of soundbar systems which offer movie theater quality audio without taking up a lot of space. The TH-BA3 is a 280-watt, 5.1-channel surround sound system which comprises of a soundbar, wireless subwoofer and wireless rear speaker kit, retailing for $549.95. As for the TH-BS7, that model is a super-slim soundbar which measures a mere 1.4″ tall, but don’t let its size idiot you as it boasts a pretty decent performance. Other features include an even slimmer wall-mountable amplifier and control unit, and a wireless subwoofer. Utilizing JVC’s Front Surround technology, one is able to enjoy a surround sound effect without the need for rear speakers, where it retails for $599.95.
