Just a question – does the highest overclocked RAM automatically become the fastest? Well, Asus and G.Skill has teamed up to conjure the highest overclocked DDR3 memory in the world, where it hit an amazing 2.5GHz in terms of frequency to offer unprecedented performance for dual-channel DDR3 memory. that was made possible thanks to Asus P7P55D-E Deluxe and P7P55D-E EVO motherboards, where both come with significant overclocking features integrated within their designs. When coupled with the best graphics card and processor available on the market, you can be certain of having a killer machine that will do your bidding way faster than ever imagined.

Earlier that month we have been looking at a new MSI Wind Top All-in-One lineup. A beautiful piece of engineering and design, but, let’s be honest, pricewise it pushes extremes of what even latest hardware can cost. that though, Asus Eee Top ET2010AGT, which seems to me like a very distant but still a rival for a Core i7 powered 24-inch MSI winds things down a bit. I urge you to leave alone prejudice about Atom processors that all Eee PCs tend to have. It’s AMD Athlon X2 1.6GHz for that one, coupled with ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470 with 512MB committed memory, 4GB RAM and 7200rpm 500GB HDD should do well for home entertaining. And you can play with that 20-inch 1400 x 900 multitouch display for equivalent of $850 or drop that feature and pay $800.

Lineup consists of two options. First one is ENGTX480 based on GTX480 and, as we have it, has precisely the same specifications. So has with GTX470-based ENGTX470. Performance of both, or what is even more critical its comparison with ATI Radeon HD 5970 is arguable. But that should not be the topic of that post. So far, check out ENGTX480 and ENGTX470 specifications after the jump.

Many of them were shown as upcoming, so naturally, in a month we got some of those officially announced. ASUS has recently announced its EeeBox PC EB1007 nettop, but things have changed to good since CeBIT. I mean, of course, ASUS’ promise to equip as many products as they can with USB 3.0 ports. So they did it with EeeBox PC EB1007 as well. However, things are not so jolly well with EB1007 nettop.

Back in November 2009 we previewed Intel Cedarview still to come notebook / netbook platform. The first thing we liked by upcoming at that day Pineview chipset and Pine Trail Atom processors was DDR3 support. Waiting a for more than year to get hold of one looked like too faraway. And it still is. So now there is a rumor saying Intel will add Atom-based N455, N475 and dual-core N500 processors with DDR3 support to its current lineup. that reportedly will happen in early June and already ASUS is preparing a netbook sporting dual-core Intel Atom N500 for under $600.

Word on the street has it that Asus is currently working on a new tablet which will see an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor in action underneath the chassis, apart from Windows 7 as the operating system of choice. Apparently, it could be unveiled within the next couple of weeks, and whether it is the same device that we talked about a couple of days earlier, thereupon the Q3 release instance mentioned would have been way off the charts. Apparently, that tablet will resemble the WePad (as seen above) closely, but stay tuned as we uncover more data on it.

Netbooks generally aren’t dominant devices, but the upcoming Eee PC 1215N from Asus might be able to change that perception. The most notable thing about that netbook will be its dual-core Atom N500 processor, as well as NVIDIA’s next-generation ION chip, along with NVIDIA Optimus technology. There isn’t any mention of how good that netbook’s battery life will be, but hopefully it will be able to live up to the current expectations of battery life for netbooks. Word is going around that the 1215N will be available in June, and while there isn’t any official confirmation on that just yet, we’re certainly looking forward to it.
