Asus Eee PC to expand category further

Asus is certainly milking its Eee PC type for all it is worth, throwing in a couple more lines for you to consider before you part with your hard earned money the next moment round. We're talking about the Eee Pc Diary and the Eee PC Prime, where the former will be a bunch of netbooks that target folks who are always on-the-go (isn't that who netbooks are meant for in the first place, anyway?), boasting a enlarged battery life with a stronger focus on reliability and mobile connections. As for the Eee PC Prime, it is not a secret Autobot ready to save the world from the clutches of the Decepticons, but will be a high-end Eee PC instead. As for the Eee PC Seashell line, well, that's a bunch of affordable Eee PCs.

Asus Cine5 PC speakers

Asus does not only construct computers, you know, with the company rolling out its new Cine5 PC speakers which are touted to be the smallest 5-channel PC soundbar in the world. Capable of offering great audio quality in a compact design, the Cine5 boasts a frequency response of around 80 to 20,000Hz, multiple 3.5mm jacks for multichannel input, headphone socket and 5-channel audio. No view on pricing or availability, but expect details on both to be released pretty soon. What do you think of its design?

Asus Comes Up With Futuristic RT-N56U Router

If all the routers manufactured from now on looked something like Asus’ RT-N56U router, most public wouldn’t have such a hard moment figuring out how to hide their routers at home. Asus Shows Off Xonar Xense Soundcard With Sennheiser PC350 Headset

Asus has announced its Xonar Xense soundcard at the CeBIT tradeshow in Germany, and whether the deal to get that soundcard that offers DVI output, SPDIF output, 6.3mm audio jacks for headphones and microphones, doesn’t sound good sufficient for you, you’ll be glad to assemble out that it comes bundled with the Sennheiser PC350 headphones, which should be quite useful whether you’re planning on enjoying the sound quality that you just bought. In terms of features, these offer 118dB of sound clarity, as well as support for various standards – EAX, DirectSound, Dolby and various others, which will probably tip the scales in its favor whether you’re not the adventurous type to go and shop for various qualitys.

Asus OPlay Air HD2 Unveiled At CeBIT 2010

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting Apple’s iPad, you might be a little disappointed with all the rumors going around that Apple will not be able to meet the demand, and supply is short etc. That being said, Asus has come up with an updated version of the O! Play HD2, which will feature a built-in HDMI port, USB port, eSata port, not to mention 3 slots for memory cards. Specifications are scarce at the moment, considering that is able to play networked media, as well as Full HD 1080p video playback, it’ll certainly be popular amongst TV junkies. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted when more data on that surfaces.

Asus Eee PC 1201PN at CeBIT

Asus' presence at CeBIT is not complete whether they do not roll out at least one more Eee PC machine, and the Taiwanese company does not disappoint with the Eee PC 1201PN gracing CeBIT's showfloor, powered by an Intel Atom N450 processor, NVIDIA's Ion GPU, a 12.1" WXVGA LED-backlit display, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, an HDMI port and a 6-cell Li-Ion battery. No view on pricing or availability though, but we like the MacBook Air-like resemblance.

Asus showcases new models

Asus is certainly going all out at CeBIT as well that year, showcasing some concept models which tickle the imagination. Not all of these concepts will hit the market as full fledged products though, but one of them which we're interested in would be the Eee Top. that all-in-one machine does come with a 23.6" display with full HD capability, a 3D-ready feature and multi-touch support. You will plus be happy as it handles Blu-ray playback effortlessly, running on a range of Intel i3, i5 and i7 processors. Since that is a prototype, expect Asus to throw in other high end features such as USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, HDMI, VGA, capability connector, Ethernet and satellite TV.
