China Manufacturer To Sue Apple by iPad Design?

When you talk about cloned devices, most folks would think of the usual fake iPhones and fake Nokia phones from China, but could you ever imagine Apple’s iPad being sued for being a clone? The Shenzhen Great lengthy Brother Industrial Co. has already applied for a patent of its P88 tablet back last May, entering a process that could take up to a year in China. With that in mind, Wu Xiaolong, the president of the company, isn’t too happy with Apple’s iPad announcement, particularly since the company had presented their P88 six months ago at the IFA (International Electronics Fair in Berlin), and while he has admitted that it will be difficult to take on Apple in the US, but whether the iPad enters the Chinese market, they will certainly sue them. Apple’s iPad is already in the firing line of Fujitsu by its name, right now it probably isn’t looking to have another company making noise about its design.

Wired To Cater For Apple Tablet

Talk about the allure of the rumored Apple Tablet. While Apple hasn’t confirmed whether it’s working on such a device or not, the folks at Wired magazine are already taking steps to keep ahead of the competition by preparing a digital version of it’s magazine for upcoming tablets. While tablets getting popular, they’re still nowhere near the level of popularity that netbooks enjoy at that current day, will an Apple tablet change the scene like how the iPhone did? We’ll have hope that the rumors of the Apple Tablet are true, and wait, won’t we?
