Yet another blinged out iPhone 3GS
February 20, 2010
Looks like the iPhone 3GS is a prime candidate for getting all blinged out, as we have yet another effort by Computer Choppers that offers the Midas combination of gold and diamonds. Dubbed the Limited Edition 24kt Gold & Diamonds iPhone 3GS, you get 24k gold alongside a diamond-studded Apple logo. No notion on pricing, but chances are that would be able to buy a few family cars with some change left by whether you decide to put your money on other frivolous purchases.

Fake Chinese MacBooks feature plastic unibody construction.
January 21, 2010
Shameless design thieves in China have copied the Apple MacBook Air, right down to the unibody construction -- but not without dubious "improvements." Instead of being carved from a one slab of aluminum, the "FakeBook Air" is plastic. The Apple logo on the lid lights up just like the real thing. But instead of glowing a sophisticated white, it lights up with cheesy, garish colors. Inside, it's all just generic PC innards. (Props to Cult of Mac)

iPod Supreme is crazy expensive
December 5, 2009

The iPod Supreme is proud to be known as the most expensive iPod touch on earth, where there are only three models available. It might be a wee bit hard to find a buyer though considering it costs a whopping $233,000 each, where you get 149 grams of 22 carat gold with the trademark Apple logo made from 53 shiny VVS1, color F diamonds. On the outer section of the iPod touch lies 300 diamonds, while the main navigation button is adorned with a dozen diamonds that surround a restricted cut pink diamond of 2.1 carat. All three will come in a box made from white lacquered wood, with inners made from Porsche Nappa leather. Guess the economy is really recovering, eh - who do you think will pick that up? A Russian oil ogilarch, an Arab sheikh or some businessman from the Far East?
