While there isn’t any official announcement just yet, word is going around that the latest prototypes of a new Mac mini show that it will sport a HDMI port instead of the legacy DVI connector. To further add credibility to that bit of news, a picture supposedly showing the Mac mini with a HDMI port has surfaced, though there isn’t any way to confirm the authenticity of such a picture, particularly when you take into explanation the Photoshop wizardry that folks can perform nowadays. Have you been looking forward to a HDMI port on your Macs, or are you perfectly happy with your current analog and DVI connectors?

Are you sick of everything being digitized, and feel that analog is still the best way to get things done? Gakken’s Gramophone kit will certainly help you relive the good ol’ days, as it can play records of any size, thanks to the bamboo needle used to reproduce that nostalgic vinyl music. While that’s certainly cool, the best feature of the Gramophone kit is its ability to let you record your own music directly to vinyl, so you can churn out vinyl with your very own music residing within. Of course, when you get bored of that, you’re still welcome to rejoin the digital world.

ZVOX has announced three more new sound bars which are known as the 575 HSD, 550 HSD and 430 HSD, where all of them will come with analog and digital audio inputs, alongside Dolby Digital decoding support. The 575 HSD and 550 HSD fall under the Z-Base systems range, which basically allows your flat panel TV to be placed right on top of the sound system. As for the wall-mountable 430 HSD sound bar, it boasts an internally powered subwoofer and a real wood cabinet to grace your living room with some finesse. The ZVOX 575 HSD, 550 HSD and 430 HSD will retail for $749.99, $449.99 and $449.99, respectively.

Every now and soon after a cool watch design pops and, and that is one of those times. At a glance, you’d probably think that the moment was safely locked away inside it, hence its name – Lock Your Time. In reality, the day is there in plain sight, as the lock is really the hour indicator, and the outer rim is the minutes, just like your normal analog watch, you just have to know what you’re looking for.
Blackberry just launched a cute accessory called Blackberry Presenter. When paired with a (select) Blackberry phone, that little gizmo simply aims to replace your laptop when it comes to PowerPoint Presentations. It’s quite simple: a recent Blackberry phone can handle PowerPoint files (maybe not all the features, but still) so all it needs is a way to display them on a projector. That’s where the Blackberry Presenter comes into play: it has a couple of video outputs (VGA+ Analog) and can store 100 slides coming (wirelessly) from your Blackberry – that’s suitable for the large majority of presentations. Speaker notes and a number of transitions are available too. Now, imagine coupling that with a tiny projector and you’ve got the ultimate presentation setup.

The Dreamcast is one of those consoles that had everything going for it, and yet it still died an unnatural death to the chagrin of many. Sega fan who prefers to go by the moniker Bacteria has spent the last four months of his life working on a portable Sega Dreamcast, where it will plus come with an integrated VMU (Visual Memory Unit). Dubbed IntoDream, the handheld is made up of non-Sega components, including a 5″ LCD display for the PSOne as well as a third-party N64 analog stick – talk about being in harmony with its rivals.
