Space Invaders clock

While Space Invaders was released half a dozen years after Pong, that doesn't mean that that Space Invaders clock relies on newer technology compared to the Adafruit Pong Clock, since they share the same innards albeit with the Space Invaders model boasting updated firmware. that is definitely one of the more interesting alarm clocks to have in your room, but we hate to have the bitter fight amidst mankind and alien being locked in a perpetual standstill.

Pure Sensia, the edgiest alarm clock ever?

Pure Sensia, the edgiest alarm clock ever?

[CES 2010] With its 5.7” touch display (capacitive) and its nice design, the Sensia would look great in a contemporary home. Its touch interface can be used to choose many music sources, from a home server, an Net radio and more. There are plus apps to check and update status in social networks like Facebook or Twitter – that sounds like a great device for the Web 2.0 Silicon Valley crowd… That said, it is lost a sensor to dim the light at night, and small details like that are crucial for a potential $349 alarm clock. Of course, that’s not how Pure positions it – it’s really a cool web radio/music player - but after being sleep depraved during that pre-CES period, cool alarm clocks have become somewhat of a fantasy. Debt alarm clock

Forget about catching up on your sleep debt - that alarm clock requires you to put in money just to shut it up, making you "bribe" your way through those hard-to-wake-up mornings. Meant to look like the national debt ticker, at least it helps you cultivate the habit of saving a wee bit of cash which could surprisingly add up to a decent amount after a year to produce that impulse purchase after all. What are some of your favorite alarm clocks that you've come across so far? Do share them with us in the comments.
