GameBone iPhone Gamepad Accessory
March 20, 2010

If you think that your iPhone needs a little something additional in order to challenge Sony’s PSP, or Nintendo’s DS, the Gamebone gamepad accessory for the iPhone might be just the thing. It does seem to turn your iPhone to something resembling a PSP, so that’s probably good news, considering that the PSP looks quite good. Aside from the gamepad, the Gamebone actually goes the additional mile by offering an additional 2000mAh battery on board for additional gaming hours, built-in stereo speakers, omni-directional mic, and a (probably unnecessary) 3.5mm headphone jack. There isn’t any official pricing mentioned, but the Gamebone is apparently scheduled to be launched in Q4 of 2010.

Sharp CMOS camera unit
March 19, 2010

Sharp's latest CMOS camera unit was specially designed to cater for vehicle rearview monitoring systems. Known as the 1/3.7-type RJ642A10000Q CMOS camera unit, it boasts a resolution of 320,000 pixels, placing it on a pedestal by virtue of having the industry’s thinnest profile of 19.5mm. that one camera unit will integrate a high-sensitivity CMOS image sensor with on-board image processing circuitry, alongside a lens within a dustproof and waterproof enclosure that will hook up to an attached video output cable. Since it is so small, it can be installed without making a mess of your vehicle's aesthetics. Get that whether you can't parallel park properly, otherwise it isn't a essential upgrade for all drivers.

Witspad W8 Mobile World Wide Web Device
March 16, 2010

The Witspad W8 Mobile Web Device (MID) does look like a smartphone at first glance, something which hails from the HTC family of devices, but we guess we are wrong considering it lacks SMS support, which disqualifies it from being a full handset replacement. Hardware specifications include the Maemo OS, a 806MHz Marvell PXA 320 processor, a 4.3" touchscreen display, 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS support, Wi-Fi connectivity and CDMA2000 3G connectivity. It is currently going for around $470 after conversion in China.

Winait CD130BT Super Slim Digital Camera
March 14, 2010

Looking for a super slim digital camera to prepare you feel like James Bond? Well, the Winait CD130BT might be just what you’re looking for. Measuring in at just 13.5mm thick (or thin?), the camera sports some rather average specs, but you’ll probably be able to miss than due to its ultra-slim design. For $24.99, you’ll pick up an ultra-slim camera that takes 640x480 resolution pictures, and saves them onto its 64MB of on board memory. Of course, considering how common cameras are on mobile phones nowadays, you probably already have a better alternative, albeit not in such a slim design.

LG shows off new phones in the Netherlands
March 11, 2010

LG decided to take a Dutch holiday and showcase a bunch of new handsets at the Netherlands, where they are the LG Cookie Music KM570 (as pictured), LG Pure, LG GT405, LG KS365 and LG Jacquar 5. The LG Cookie Music does resemble the Rogers-bound LG KM555 a whole lot, although it has more advanced features such as a 5-megapixel camera, 4GB of internal memory, Dolby Mobile technology, HSDPA connectivity and a 3.5mm headset jack. As for the touchscreen-capable LG GT405, that model sports HSDPA connectivity, 3D S-Class UI, stereo FM radio and a 5-megapixel camera. The slider LG Pure is pretty much the same as the LG GT405, although it misses out on the touchscreen display and comes in a different mold factor. As for the LG KS365, that model seems to be a redesigned version of the LG KS360. The LG Jacquar 5 might sound phonetically luxurious, but that simple candybar is equipped with a VGA camera and other basic media features. Which of these do you like best?
