The MacBook Air undergoes the cloning treatment yet again with the E-stary that moment round, featuring a bright black color on the exterior that makes the white Apple logo all the more prominent. Chances are that will turn more heads than the original as you strut it down a street, although you might be ridiculed at once society discover that that is a clone and not the real deal. There is a white model just in case you were wondering, and prefer to work without attracting too much attention. Features are pretty much standard netbook specifications, including an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, an 11.6″ display at 1,366 × 768 resolution, integrated GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity and a couple of USB ports. No notion on availability, but it is tipped to cost around $300 after conversion.

We suppose that notebook and netbook fans tend to be separated into two camps – one who likes glossy lids, while the other prefers a matte finish. Well, the Asus Eee PC 1005PE-PU27 caters for the former, where it will be powered by an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, accompanied by 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Windows 7 Starter Edition and a 6-cell battery that supposedly touts 14 hours of battery life. Amazon is carrying that puppy for $365, which is a pretty good bargain whether you are considering a decent portable computing device that can handle just about anything you throw at it.

Thanks to Kohjinsha who built that machine, you will find an Intel Atom Z520 processor underneath the hood alongside 1GB RAM, a 60GB hard drive (that’s miserly to say the least!), a DVD drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 1Seg TV tuner, a webcam, and an 8.9″ touchscreen display at 1,280 × 768 resolution. Expect to see it hit the market sometime that June. Looks set to be a hardcore collector’s item only as we don’t think business executives would want to tote that around.

We first brought you a whiff of the Sony Vaio M netbook earlier that January, and further confirmed its existence that month. Guess all of that patience has paid off, with Sony having announced its Vaio M netbook officially. that is different from other Vaio series since it falls under the “budget computer” category – a rather peculiar position for Sony, that’s for certain. Well, you will find it to be pretty standard where netbooks are concerned with 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, the run-of-the-mill 10.1″ display at 1,024 × 600 resolution. No notion on pricing, but we do know that Tesco in the UK has slapped a £299 price tag on it, virtually making that the cheapest Vaio-branded notebook/netbook to day.

For those of you who have an eye open for the HP Mini 5102 might want to be more wary when it comes to cheap online sales as you could end up with the Tenda T26 instead – a close clone of the original, including its package box. The main difference would be the slightly larger display at 11.6″ compared to the 10″ one found on the HP Mini 5102. Features include 1,366 × 768 resolution, an Intel Atom N450 1.6GHz processor, integrated Intel GMA3150 graphics, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a trio of USB ports Wi-Fi connectivity. Throw in a PCI-E slot and you can have the benefits of a 3G module.

Olevia has jumped into the netbook market with the P10, where that 10.1″ device won’t offer anything new to the competition, although it might be able to move units due to its expected cheaper pricing structure. The P10 will come with a 10.1″ display, powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor and accompanied by 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi connectivity and all other staple netbook features. Should you decide to ditch Windows, there is always the optional Linux installation to get you started.

Onkyo’s latest tablet PC is known as the NX707, where it will come with a built-in GPS receiver while powered by Windows 7. Hitting Japan before the year is by for approximately $680, the Onkyo NX707 will be powered by an Intel Atom Z520 processor, accompanied by 1GB RAM, a 80GB hard drive, a couple of USB 2.0 ports, a ExpressCard/34 port, SD/SDHC/MMC memory card slots, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity. No notion on why two webcams have been thrown into the mix though.

The made-in-China Seed Industrial HT560 MID offers another alternative for those who are exploring options in the MID world, where that 5.6″ touchscreen display device will run on a VIA C7-1.0GHz processor with Windows XP as the operating system of choice. Other specifications for your to consider would be 16GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LAN connectivity, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 1GB RAM and optional GPS navigation. No view on pricing, but whether it sits squarely below the $500 mark, the HT560 could prove to be a potentially hot buy.
