March 8, 2010

Copycats from China have done it again - that moment round it is the HP Mini 5101 that fell prey to the clones. However, that clone does go one up on the original since it improves on the latter's specifications and features, as you will enjoy a better viewing experience thanks to its 11.6" display at 1,366 x 768 resolution, larger chiclet keys for a more comfortable typing experience, a port that supposedly boosts your netbook's 3G connectivity, and most interestingly suitable, a cloned HP logo which looks picture perfect. March 3, 2010

Asus' presence at CeBIT is not complete whether they do not roll out at least one more Eee PC machine, and the Taiwanese company does not disappoint with the Eee PC 1201PN gracing CeBIT's showfloor, powered by an Intel Atom N450 processor, NVIDIA's Ion GPU, a 12.1" WXVGA LED-backlit display, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, an HDMI port and a 6-cell Li-Ion battery. No view on pricing or availability though, but we like the MacBook Air-like resemblance.
